What. In. Thee. Hell. SIXTEEN YEARS?!?! That's an insult to the victim and the prosecutor who made this deal should be fired. Her life was worth a lot more than 16 years. If you murder someone, at a minimum, you spend the rest of your life in prison, period. Prosecutors and judges who offer and sentence criminals to ridiculous plea deals need to be fired. Take it to trial if they don't want to admit their guilt. At least then they can be sentenced to life w/o parole. This is a disgrace.

If you’re thinking about leaving a guy , whether it’s a husband or a boyfriend, don’t confront them. Just pack what you can and get out and go no contact if possible. I don’t know if this is the situation but if you confront certain people, especially a covert narcissist and again I don’t know if he was one, but people can be extremely dangerous and snap. There was a San Diego woman that went missing in the Williams/Flagstaff area last year and her car found on a dirt road. It was never reported whether she was found dead or alive,I wonder if they are somehow related .

Plea deals are ridiculous - but they make it easier on the courts and court staff - even the bailiffs hate trials because it cuts into their day. I was a bailiff and we loved to hear that a plea deal was made so there would be no trial. This guy only gets 16 years for murdering another human being, just to avoid a trial - sickening.

Im sorry, but a guy and girl /husband wife, fighting physically- Could Never Be The Norm, for me to see or witness as a neighbor. "Oh, are those two wrestling in the yard again? They're so crazy" NOPE! if I'm your neighbor, the cops will be called EVERY DAY i see some dumb stuff such as a man fighting with a women. Im not religious, but *love thy neighbor, even if they are strangers!*

Why would the Judge accept such a egregious Plea deal. He/she could have refused and sentenced this monster to Life, which is what he deserves.
