She was headed down a road and hit sand before a beach area where she was going fast enough to completely submerge her vehicle at quite a distance out from the shoreline. She would have had to be going pretty fast over that sand (which is hard to do) before hitting the water. Going < 20mph her car merely would have stopped in < 10 feet where the water would have stopped her car instantly. How fast was she going and why?

The mom is facing murder charges due to her child using the mom's vehicle and alcohol from the mom's home. It's called parental homicide, child was 16, and thats illegal to plan for your child to drive drunk. Parents can be liable in court if she killed others from her DUI drunk driving. One less drunk driver on the road out to kill you and me. Thank God she's dead and didn't take a family in a van full of babies dying due to her drunk driving on the lake. Adventures have specialised equipment which is why the investigators invited them to help. It’s a blessing for her parents to find her. She was not able to be rescued, it was too late for her. Her parents will be grateful to be able to grieve her, than to have no answers, no closures.

Their pain is heartbreaking and the relief and closure they get is immeasurable. I think that person was saying it’s a blessing she’s found and these parents don’t have to endure that. Without AWP, who knows if they would have ever found her. AWP pulled a car with a 16 year old boy that had been missing for four years out of a busy boat ramp in shallow water. Four years. And the top of his car was damaged from boats running over it.

Imagine a van full of babies 👶 dying from her DUI driving drunk on a lake. The best outcome was her dying alone instead of a mass murder accident from driving drunk illegally. AWP have said in the past that a lot of the times law enforcement do not have enough training or experience with the equipment and that is why they often find people in bodies of water that have already been searched.

I was watching one of the videos AWP posted a few weeks ago and there was a person diving under water and he had a camera and let me tell you it was hard to see under water . I know we all want to think it's easy but it's not. The diver couldn't even find the back of the car or get a license plate. I mean there's so many cold cases they have been solved of people who have been under water for sometimes 30 years and were not found for that long so that should tell you it probably isn't as easy as you might think

So, she made a wrong turn SOMEWHERE to end up on Old Hwy 89, in the darkness (not well lit out there now, as we saw from the end of the live video when they ended it... they had to use the light from the boat that was used to illuminate everything, bring in klieg lights (the ones they use on road construction sites) that are battery powered, etc), while under the influence of alcohol &/or drugs. By the time she realized she too close to the water, it was too late, the vehicle was committed, and sinking. Come on, dude... think logically.

I'm sorry but there most certainly is fault for the agencies involved. Within 48 hours of Ms. Rodni going missing they were calling it a "potential abduction". They released the wrong information about what she was wearing. They ignored that in **most cases** a person who goes missing with their vehicle either chose to disappear or had an accident in that vehicle. They knew she last texted her mother that she was on her way home. They knew that substances were possibly involved. They knew that her phone pinged right beside that lake. They knew that her vehicle hadn't been picked up on any CCTV points leaving the area (there's a toll booth not far north along the road she would have taken, if I'm not mistaken. There would be CCTV all over it). Anyone with a simplistically logical brain would have come to the conclusion that she had accidentally driven into that body of water while intoxicated, in the dark. It didn't take a genius to work out that this was the **most likely** scenario. They have a hard job, with emotional cases, I do feel for them. But there is something fundamentally wrong with their procedures, their training and their attitudes when thousands of members of the public are able to come to this extremely logical conclusion while the authorities are flailing around.
