I was a Gunsmithing student at Montgomery Community College in Troy NC (people from the area know exactly where I'm talking about) which is in the national forest, when the show Finding Bigfoot came to Uwharrie to film an episode and let the locals take place in the show. I graduated in 2011, so that should have been around 2010. Unfortunately I wasn't sure of the exact date it was going to take place and found out one morning when I got to school that it had taken place the day before 😢. That was a bummer because I personally definitely do believe and would have loved to have participated. Also an older guy who was in my class that was from Ohio swore that he had seen and somewhat interacted with a bigfoot on several occasions on his land in Ohio. Nowadays I wish I would have taken the time to have asked him more about his experiences and heard all of his stories. I do remember a part of one story where he said he was pretty much face to face with one! I'm pretty sure he said that he believed there was a whole family group of them living on his land. It was after the show came through that the El Dorado store started making and selling a lot of bigfoot t-shirts and souvenirs. There's a table covered in it when you first walk into the door.

So they have him on thermal film from 14 years ago and no one has seen or heard of the film until now. LMAO. Meanwhile the store owner is making capitol gains out of souvenirs. Imagine that.

Ironically, I've got that guy Micheal D Greenes book "Sasquatch for Sale" laying right beside me in bed. It was my dad's who passed last month. This book is signed by Greene in the front (if that's even authentic) but, says something like "truly a man after my own heart" and "I always wanted to shoot one, just one" which makes my day! Wow...

@@blazerwilliams2260 I have to disagree and here’s why…To begin with, the subscriber numbers say it all!! The rest of why I disagree is below. ‘The Facts by HowtoHunt’ reads stories and submissions from mostly subscribers to his KZfaq channel,(257k subscribers and growing daily)as well as people from all over the world. Everyone from Police retired/Active, Firemen, Park Rangers, National Park Rangers, Military personnel Active/Retired, FBI Retired/Active, etc,etc,etc, as well as everyday Joe’s like you and me. I could add to that list, but I don’t have all night. He also has a few stories of his own and from people/hunters, neighbors, from his own community. Steve is out solo in the wilderness more times than anyone else, on any other channel on the subject, and occasionally has interactions with ‘something’ in the wilderness. When Steve has something thrown at him out in the bush, it’s way more believable that it’s something odd and way more believable that it’s real than any other channel out there. He has no one with him 95% of the time to be able to stage anything, unlike all these other so called “Bigfoot hunters”. Steve encourages people of all walks to share their stories, to open up, and spread their knowledge about what they’ve seen or heard. This way, it becomes so obvious that bigfoot/Sasquatch/Sabe and the many other things and phenomena exist, that they cannot be ignored any longer!!! Buckeye Bigfoot, Dixie Cryptid, Bigfoot Case Files combined just about reach Steve’s subscriber numbers and that’s just for his KZfaq channel. I highly suggest them if you have trouble sleeping at night, or maybe you’re just bored out of your mind and cannot find anything else to watch, or listen too. I went to the Finding Bigfoot "town hall" meeting at the fire department in Troy when they were filming that episode. It was cold as heck that night. I wasn't to terribly impressed with the thermal footage or the whole story behind it. I've camped at that camp ground many a time and never heard a thing other than some really big deer, turkey and a bobcat once. As rural as Montgomery County is, most of its forest are bordered by well traveled and settled roads and the place is crawling with hunters part of the year. I doubt any large creature of Bigfoot size could not only find a sustainable food source especially in the winter there nor could it evade the hunters, hikers, off-road enthusiast, etc. Not to say that Bigfoot might could have migrated through the area but I doubt he takes up residence there. I guess its fun to believe that a creature could make the Uwharries home though and if it makes one happy and give folks something to do, hey more power to you.

So evidently you never saw the researchers evidence they gather from that Forest ..these creatures are all over the country..more amd more people are seeing them.. something is making people leave there camping equipment .game wardens jave said they constantly sending crews out there to clean up abandoned tents and coolers and chairs and whole camp sites.

Couldn't evade the hunters, if you're walking in the woods and you hear footsteps in the leaves within 10 feet of you so you stop and look but nothing is there, then as you continue to walk you keep hearing the footsteps beside you and as you walk you give a little glance and you can see the leaves compress down one step at a time and nothing is there, would that be considered evading or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@TarheelBigfoot I live up here in the uwharrie national forest and I can tell you right now.... late at night sounds come out of that forest sometimes and they are 100% not local "animal" sounds! I also worked at the Eldorado outpost for a couple years so I've had the privilege of seeing locals hunting cams & some shaken up hunters phone camera footage! I can honestly say I am 100% convinced there's one up here! Locals know the truth! Outsiders / out of towners have even gotten so scared out here that they have left behind their camping gear!😂
