Me: *Sees new content incoming* Also me: “Cool, time to start a fresh save” SES: Missions are backwards compatible. Me: “Double cool. I’ll still be starting a fresh game though!” Edit: Update. Loving the Compass. It’s made me far more willing to venture out of sight of my base, making surface resource gathering a lot more fun. I’m also enjoying the Mission system and the rewards from it, especially the QT RTGs. Thank you System Era!

System era, you have made a beautiful game. It’s so amazing that you are still updating it to this day to add additional content therefore it’s always new and interesting. I swear, every time I load up the game there is a new feature, patch, or update. This game’s art style is like nothing I’ve seen before. It’s so vibrant, and inviting. And there is always something to do, whether it’s mining, crafting, building, looking at the astropedia, exploring new planets, driving rovers, flying space ships, and messing around with weird lookin core things. No matter what, I always come back to Astroneer.

A good feature is to show us the planets that we have already visited. This will help us not to take more resources than we should. Thanks for the new update.

I hope there’s a way for PS4 players to be cross-platform, my friend bought it on PS4, and I have it on PC, and although I love the game, it’s really not the same without friends.

I know I’m not the first to think up a couple of things that would add some quality of life/fun to your incredible world. Just things I thought might be fun/helpful and suggestions of how they might be made in the game.. thank you again for your hard work!!! Totally excited for what’s coming!! I know this may never fully be read.. but it’s been in my heart for months.. y’all are fucking LEGENDS!! Sincerely, Steve-o.. a huge fan!!! Things I would love to add to Astroneer if I could: 1- radio/channels with bit of different music. You guys have have such awesome music, please make more! (1copper+ 1glass+1ceramic) unlock tunes, maybe like 5per planet (1platinum[1zinc+1aluminum]) 2- upgraded tethers that lock to the ground and have 50% more length (1Copper+2titanium)per bundle 3- magnet to grab lots of debris at once, could be a mod for terrain tool. (1steel) 4- be able to attach small rover seat to front attachments of rovers facing forward. 5- Different types of the same buildings, like different types of solar/wind generators and platforms/shuttles/rovers etc. for base customization. 6- track(2iron each) and a hovercart( 1aluminum+1steel) max of 3 made per bundle that can hold medium storage for speedy resource collection/shuttling close to base. 7- A hover board for fast, fun scouting (1aluminum+1copper) cuz.. you know.. it’s a damn hoverboard. 8- A way to know how much power my base has/is using. Like an actual ratio 9- Have Auto Arms change angles of pick up/drop off. Like a 90 degree angle would be awesome! Thank you again!!! Love y’all!!!

Horns on canisters of different materials will make different sounds, and the tuning will be done by amount of material in the canister. This is a genius way of implementing note blocks.

I really hope the last sneak peek is more than just music:/ the music in the game is already fantastic, I doubt I can make something better! Seriously tho my first thought was that it was a way of changing the atmosphere around your base, to make it breathable, like a dome of safety! No more stupid tethers around my base!!!!! But then I noticed the piano playing is in sync with the green light moving across the lines. Regardless I’ll appreciate it being in the game:)

I like the refined way to go through, back when I came in 2017 I had no idea what I was doing. This should help give me a little extra thing to mess around with and help new players get things unlocked much easier.

Ideas I had while playing: -Organic farm -A train? To go base to base (Maybe a slow one not to make other cars useless) -Base build (like NMS or fallout) -A pnj (tiny flying robot) just to feel less lonely because none of your friend want to play with you...

I hope the byte reward system is balanced. Getting bytes early game is a bit grindy, but in a good way. True, you can never have enough research chambers/power early game, but that's where you have to focus on what you want to get done first. I do like the idea of item rewards, though. Maybe you could get some things that aren't normally obtainable but aren't too game breaking, like a storage silo or a large battery

I remember being able to find broken landing pads all over the landscape be they kinda disappeared with 1.0, I’ve seen a few on desolo but I was wondering if you guys had any plans of making it a buildable item available to buy in the catalog in the future.
