Pros of the Mazda RX Vision under v1.25 BOP:
- Lago Maggiore has medium and high speed turns, which is the very thing this car loves.
- Good on fuel and tire wear. It'll make tire and fuel management easier, and should make 10+ lap stints on the Medium tires more doable.
Cons of the Mazda RX Vision:
- It's not the best on sector 1 (low speed corners). It's not terrible, but the RX VIsion likes high and medium speed turns better.
NOTE: The AI are set to "Hard." There is apparently an issue where setting them to "Easy" can potentially make them even harder to beat.

I have golds in absolutely everything in this game, but couldn’t get on this mission yet…I believe they changed something after the last update, this setup is not working anymore… when you are going straight the car is slower than the others, so impossible to win with this setup now! Still trying to find a new setup that can make it far game with the other cars

@@marcusamadei2738 v1.29/1.30 had a BOP change. The RX Vision got a weight nerf. I think the Porsche 911 RSR has been untouched by the BOP update, so it should still be another good choice.

Bro thank you. Before my first pit I was driving way too aggressively, burning fuel. Last lap I’m back behind the BWM by 4+ seconds, knew that If I drove dirty I wouldn’t get penalized until the next lap, cut through the S Curve, I passed him in the big hill turn/sand trap. Won by a margin of 0.324.

Thanks man for the strategy. I could only do 1:57-1:58 laps but still managed to get the win. Short shifting was really the key to keep the pace while shortening the stops.

Damn bro you’re a great driver. My fastest lap was only a 1:57.2 and I’m really struggling to find that next level with my speed. I think my problem is not using objects to mark my braking points. I’m also not too great on this track lol. This is the last mission I need to beat to complete the base game before going for platinum

Christ above, Tidgney (M. Grady in the R8) is a complete nutjob in this race. I tried the one-stop hard tyre strategy as I was told it was easier than the two-stop medium route and he absolutely would not let me by. Going off track at the first corner and rejoining like a cannonball at Turn 2 hairpin, and trying to shove you off at Big Banky Boy.

I tried 5 different cars to include the RCZ...no luck. Pulled 57s and 56s...I either fell short by 10 seconds or I get punted by the AI. I just uninstalled the game. Everything else gold, but I can't anymore with this game, not having fun anymore. Thank you for your other videos though, they helped quite a deal but I refuse to play a game that makes me more frustrated than having fun.

Havent Tried with this Mazda Vision yet, can't imagine you got it consistently 1.55-1.56ish but few days ago did it on a 911, average only able to get 1.56-1.58, win by 9.8 sec, BTW its controller in AT

I’ve been trying the m6 which seems best so far with current update. Need to do it as a 2 stop I think. I did 3 stops and ended up 5th. 1.57-1.59 were my times

I have completed this race just recently and won it finally in the human comedy challenge. It was incredibly difficult the vehicle that I used was the Genesis _ hyuandai …I can drive this car on traction zero. Which give you more speed out of the corners I found I could game time on the corners on this track but could not maintain the speed on the Straits with the AI but definitely made up for it in the tricky SBN section at the top of the hill. That’s where I gained all my time I would often gain half a second on the AI in that section and then just hold it during the Straits.

@@igorsbodrijs5071 2 stops I ran the car until basically it was out of fuel so the second two fuel stops are shorter because the fuel goes into the car so slowly on this stage I wanted to use up as much of the race in the first stint ….2 stops but make them shorter fuel stops

Brilliant win, obviously using a steering wheel but is this race winnable with the hand controller? I've got Gold in every race apart from this. Used the same car pitting 10 & 20 on mediums, best position is 11th - unable to do 30 laps by 2 secs 🤬

Yes my man. I actually tried for the 3rd time to do this yesterday. I chose the 911 rsr and just make the same mistake of saving too much fuel and going long but just not quick enough to make it stick

The 911 RSR doesn't like to fuel save too much via shortshifting. If I remember correctly, shifting at around 75% of the way is the most you can do with it. Shift earlier, and its pace goes down. The Nordschleife CE took me a while to do, as well... The BMW M6 is hard to tame on the Racing Hard tires. But keep going! You can get the gold medal!!

After 2 years, this is my first time grinding the Human Comedy driving missions as break from the Online Races where I spent more time since GT7's launch. Anyhow, I noticed most Gr. 3 cars now only have BoPs averaging from 700-710PP on Racing Mediums (versus 733 for the RX-Vision in your video). Some even have sub-700PPs which is insane and I don't remember it being that low in Online Races. The RX-Vision in comparison when I tried last night was only 714PP if I remember correctly. So I'm not sure if the AI is just too fast or the Gr. 3s were provided in the current version are severely nerfed (July 2024, 1.48 patch). For context, I don't have any experience doing this mission before patch 1.48. The other Human Comedy endurance races were a breeze to Gold compared to this hahaha! I'm having a hard time so far getting past Lap 10 without being rammed or wiped out by the AIs.

I have been trying this for so long. I have all the other challenges in gold. Some of yhem also took me a while like the drift ones, but this is taking me forever. I currently found the lexus car to be most consistent and am getting 1.58 and sometimes a 1.57. Thats 3 seconds slower than your pace. It used to be 1,:58 and not consistent. I can only imagine being faster with manual shifting or a steering wheel instead of the ps5 controller. Making me crazy, this one...

Definetly use manual on some corners you can shift early for traction or shift down in the middle of the corner to make it turn it

Am I the only one struggling to get into first place? I see that I passed every AI and gained more time apart from them, but for first place it also increases the distance from me and 1st. I’ve been using the Mazda and have tcs at zero and fuel map at one. Any answers?

The only answer I can give is I'm in the same club as you, I've got GOLD in every other race except this using a hand controller not the steering wheel set up, so annoying these glitches that are obviously in this race.

The biggest one for me is the circuit experience around nordschleife I’ve gold all the medals apart from the one lap I just bring it all together I’m silver but still a good several seconds away from gold and infer I’m at my talent limit 😔

As soon as i got the game i started the circuit experience on the nordschleife it took me about 7 8 hours, watch the ghost on every sector and then just hook the lap around i managed a 6:35 on controller

Yeah the BMW is the 😈 in this race if you’re driving the 911, he’ll wreck you every chance he gets and for whatever reason he really seems to do it more on easy from my experience. I have driven the RX Vision some and it seems like the Jaguar or Corvette is the imposter when I have went that route, in any case the AI wrecking you is maddening. Oh and 1:54 and 1:55 consistently is bonkers, ive only broke into 1:55 once in the slipstream for a decent portion of the lap. I just recently got a racing wheel and am starting to play around with left foot braking. I just worry its gonna mess with my driving irl - I have driven about 750k miles irl, always right-foot braking

Yes turning the game to harder does make the missions easier I have tried it the other way and it is impossible it doesn’t make any logical sense what’s the weather but there are a lot of things in this game that actually do not make sense but turning it to hard actually makes the missions easier I now have gold on all of the missions. And I only achieve this when I switched the game to hard as the AI for some reason just drives a little bit slower and we are talking microseconds but it does affect their speed

Found out like the other missions alot depends on the AI loadout. If your competitors don't pit at lap 8 or 9 don't bother. Used the BMW endurance M tires, pitted at lap 10 and 20 and made sure I filled only enough gas for 10 laps at second pit. AI put me in grass once and spun me around another time and won by .6 second with controller and 1.58 laps. Wrong AI set up only manged 5th or 2nd.

I only won in this race playing with a G29, with the Mazda vision and with reduced traction control. Of course I had to throw Rubilar off the track twice. Something not cool.

G29 is a decent wheel! If you see the AI driver K. Pounder, he was on G29 for a long time and qualified for multiple Gran Turismo live events with that wheel + pedal set. As long as the stewards didn't see you do that... 👀

There's been some BOP changes and I think one physics change between then and now. Overall strategy should still be the same, but the viable cars... not 100% sure. It's been a while since I've done this race.

@@MistahMCA correct, I just finished this using your tips. I'm on controller, TCS-2, sensitivity 10, ABS ON, everything else off. Short shifting is key in the Mazda, saves fuel, tires and has better control on exit. I was only doing 1:58-59. I've never been below 1:57. Mediums, stop after lap 10 and lap 20, stop refueling at 10.2 laps each time. Before your video I was doing 2:01-02, I was not abusing track limits enough and was down shifting too much and revving too high.

Ive got my difficulty on normal. Ive 99% completed the game this race is the last thing to do an i cannot win for nothing. I have 400 cars in my garage. 2024 this race is impossible, i swear they are cheating

Supposedly, even to this day, having the difficulty on Normal or Easy makes the AI harder to beat. I'm starting to go through the THC playlist again to see how much easier/harder it is to complete each mission, compared to last year.

Horrible race, poorly designed, not to mention the absurd AI, and your car is much slower than the opponents' cars, unless you are a very skilled driver (I'm an average, sometimes good driver), which shouldn't be an indispensable requisite in the single player. I thought a race was supposed to be fun in a videogame, and not some sort of hellish trial for psychopaths. All the other races were tough to some extent, yet still fair and engaging, but this one is just ridiculous. Thanks for the video though, you did a good job and you deserve a like, but it was useless for me. I started playing the game only a couple of weeks ago but I guess something has changed with the last update and I'm not gonna waste my time anymore with this nonsense. Greetings from Italy.

That's because this car got nerfed some updates ago. When this video was made 9 months ago, the Mazda VGT was good. Now, it's only good in some situations, average everywhere else.
