Stunning 🌹❤️👍🏻does not the paper buckle since you do not use gesso/ I like to apply so it’s a bit firm too. Also what brand do u use for watercolor brushes? I have an expensive one on its way from Australia that looks fabulous but would like to try others

Hi Rosa sorry for the late reply. I don't use gesso to prepare page. We don't have a good choice in our art stores and also I'm able to use watercolors in Swedish and English editions of Hanna's books without problems with bleeding. I iron my page after I used watercolors and before I start to work with pencil, and it looks smooth and perfect in the end. My favorite brushes are cheap quill brushes from Jacksons art Jackson's Icon Quill brush #2 from this set Jackson's Icon Brush Set goo.gl/V7MV8N - they are mix of natural and synthetic hairs) or Brush Jackson's : Icon : Sable Synthetic Mix Quill No.10/0 goo.gl/19fTur

Картинка получилась нереально красивой! Похоже с этими карандашами Вы тоже подружились, причем сразу. Только очень жаль, что на этот раз Вы не указывали каким конкретно карандашом рисовали (обычно лежат бумажки с указанием цвета и номером карандаша). Можно попросить Вас написать список или только номера, если это возможно.

I would recommend to use Pale peach or Deco Peach as a basic skin tone, + Blush Pink and Peach on the cheeks, Lilac, Light Umber and 50% French Grey for shading.

No Carrie when I use watercolors in Hanna Karlzon books I never have problems with bleeding through. Paper just buckles a little but I iron it.

So beautiful. I love it. I was reading you iron your page after. Do you put the iron directly on the page or do you put parchment paper over top. I would like to try but afraid to iron it and I have the English edition and you said the paint does not bleed through

Sorry for the late reply dear Debbie! I put sheet of simple 'printer paper' on top of my coloring and set my iron on Medium. Paper in the book has to be completely dry. Iron your picture in very fast and brief movements - iron once, let paper to cool for a minute, then move iron the second time. I have english edition of Daydreams, Summer Nights and Magical Dawn, and paper never had problems with bleeding even with all my watercolor experiments.
