What is inside an MIT dorm? Click to find out! I hope this video will be helpful for the new batch of students who are planning to join MIT and wish to live in the MIT dorm.
I like both the rooms- MIT and IISER Mohali. MIT rooms have a bit more furniture but the IISER Mohali room had a balcony. So, it is difficult to choose 😅

Bruv , you're at Massachusetts institute of technology . Seeing the thumbnail i thought it was a comparison between IISER & MIT ID pune or Manipal institute of technology. I actually opened see the comparison between govt college & private college hostel in India. Btw congrats gurl 🙌

Hi! I won't be able to provide detailed information on this because as a postdoc I am not paying any fees. But I do know ki kafi students ko subsidized fees ka option mil jata hai if they ask for it. In fact, ap application k liye bhi subsidized fees ka option mang skte ho. For detailed info, do visit the MIT website

There are many options after PhD..some people directly take up teaching jobs eg assistant professor positions in private institutes, some do a postdoc because many gov institutes require some years of postdoc experience before hiring someone as an assistant professor, some move to biotech, pharma or food industries, some become science communicators. With the options that are available today, there are a lot of paths that one can take

Hey thank you! I made a video about my story on how I got into MIT. It's on my homepage. Boston and Cambridge are expensive so the cost of living is higher compared to some other cities in the US.

Congratulations and all the best👍 There are many people from IISERs who are doing PhD in the US. Do try to apply for summer internship programs in the US. That will give you a good exposure!

Dii, this year, I'm getting admissions in IISERS bhopal in msc mathematics through the IIT JAM exam I want to go abroad for my phd .and want to phd from best collage .. This year i have also option for IISers mohali , pune , kolkata im prep for their interviews..bcz without interviews i couldnt get admission..so plz can you suggest me ..where I should go ,which iisers will best for me .. And doing iphd or msc which will better ...and how many students get admissionin abroad form iisers each year ..iisers bhopal is done i will directly get admissions there by JAM ..

All IISERs are good...you can check the ranking for your subject and decide if you want an IISER closer to your home and one that has a good rank. Getting admission in PhD totally depends on your CV and SOP..I know two students who joined Harvard for PhD after BS MS from IISER Mohali

Hello! The phd and postdoc stipends at MIT vary between 40 to 60 K per year. There have been small hikes recently but you can find very detailed descriptions on the MIT website. Hope this helps.

No, I did B.Tech from IP University, Delhi. And PhD from IISER. Yes, anybody who has Msc or Btech degree can join PhD in IISER through GATE or NET scores

MIT has all the departments. People do undergrad in many subjects including biology. Yes, you can do a PhD at MIT after doing bs ms from India 😊

My dream is do persue bs ms in physics or data science from iiser and later do phd in mit. I feel v happy when i seen a iiser alumni is there in mit.mnow my hope is increased. So im gng to iiser this yr for bs ms and i have some qs for u. Pls try to reply or ans. 1. Hi, the details for the Phd stipend can be found on the MIT website. People here work mostly from 9 to 5 on weekdays and take off on weekends, that's the general trend here. In my dept specifically there is a rule that everyone can defend after 5 years whether they have a paper or not.

How to get admission for Msc/phd on MIT?

Go to the MIT website to check the documents required for your department of interest and start compiling the documents required for the application. Most departments have a deadline of dec/jan. This site might be useful oge.mit.edu/graduate-admissions/applications/

Technically not, because it is a dual degree program but if someone wants to, they have to complete some minimum requirements that can be found on the website

@@manohargopal5462 Nahi kafi log krte hain side by side dusri cheezon ki preparation like MBA, but haan time nikalna padta hai...because apna cgpa bhi maintained rakhna zaruri hai if you choose an alternate career option in the future
