I really appreciate Messer not only for his great voice and music, but also, and perhaps above all, for the lyrics. I love this vocabulary, these metaphors. Mitch said about this song in one of his interviews: "Writing this song was a dream for me. I wanted to paint a picture of the perfect seedy night out with a handsome man that was just as interested in debauchery as I am. I wanted the song to be lyrically dark but also light-hearted, tounge-in- cheek."

I love my Mitch. He's mine. You can't have him. I watched an interview with Mitch quite awhile ago, and he was asked about his Messer persona. Mitch stated that the music and lyrics was based on his growing up in Texas.

My favorite messer song is love supply. It was released after the ep so you might not see it. He didn’t make a video for it but there is a fan made video that is very well done by the person who runs Ptx weekly news. I think the video enhances the song that is already good on its own. Mitch loved it too.

Didn’t see it in the playlist but I might have missed it; but the PTX video on how they made Evergreen follows them for a week. During that filming Mitch was also finalizing the release of his Album. You can see him on his phone during some takes. Can you imagine working on 2 totally different projects at the same time? Machine is my favorite from the album but all of them are fantastic. During the lockdown he went to his rooftop and recorded Your Power and that’s one you absolutely cannot miss hearing. It’s haunting, emotional and heartbreakingly beautiful. Another fantastic reaction Barry.

Thanks for your Messer reviews. Attended his first show and it was captivating, mesmerizing and gutteral. I listen very intently to music and I completely lost myself in his performance. It just ingulfed me and I just can't wait for the next one!! Love this guy!! ❤

I rarely go out anymore; my beloved dad died in April, and his youngest sister, who just turned 64, is dying in an assisted living facility. Then yesterday, one of my bonded pet budgies died. Her mate is confused and grieving. I'm so surrounded and encompassed by deep grief, it's overwhelming. All that said, you have the ability to distract and cheer me up, even briefly. Thank you for that.
