Nice celica, i had the old design, 03 rolla sportivo. changed my bolts at 340,000ks. Luckily they weren't broken,also cleaned the two mesh pre filters. The car was running fine beforehand but after the bolts and clean the difference was night and day.

Just did my lift bolts today. I'd like to note that my gasket maker required a 24-hour cure before the operation! Also not sure if I put enough gasket maker on my front side lol

Hi question: is the lift bolts also recommended for the GT model? or is it just the GTS that had the worn out bolts issue?

1zz do not have VVTL-I so there are no lift bolts

Them don't have lift that's one reason why they're slower

Yep Turbo on the Celi' not recommended indeed. I would super charge first if any thing. At least the charger sit in front of the engine instead of near the fire wall. I think their is a KZfaqr that has his Celi super charged
