If you have those double Valve stem wheels just have the stem put in backwards we do it all time for customers and doesn’t affect anything

2003 ram 1500 2wd I have a 7inch maxtrac lift and the lift kit requires me to leave the dust shield off for the front due to the lift spindles. Any idea on how to install a set of wheel lights without the dust shield?

For those who got the kits and installed them, was it worth it? Is it childish? I want one but not sure if it is kinda childish. My daughter and wife hated the idea of getting those, but not sure if I'll make fun of myself at 42y lol

Shouldn’t you have the brackets on the backside of the dust cover plate. I see other videos doing that so over time if the brackets come off they don’t interfere with the rotors.

What kind of fuse should be in there? Mine is only a 15 amp fuse and blows nearly instantly. All my connections are solid and the lights work good.

Ewww yeah self tapping screws on this is a big NO , way too much movement/ vibration etc. do it correctly with rivets or nutserts. Or hell even some nuts and bolts with locking nuts by far better and should be done but too each is own
