This is one of my favorite lectures on youtube, and the firsthand account of patient H.M. absolutely floored me. If only the brain's mechanism of memory access were known, we could access so much amazing information!

what I would like to know about HM is whether he still had understanding of things. Would insights still click and would they reoccur every time or did he remember them (implicitly)?
