Mixed Media Art Collage Tutorial : Creating "Forever"

Follow along as I create my latest piece of mixed media art using collage papers, acrylic paint, stamps, stencils and pens. With the change of seasons, I find my color pallette often changes too! Thank you for another fantastic video. I enjoy and appreciate you talking through your process. It helps me learn what to look for, i.e. adding pink paint so your gelli prints weren't so out of place. Lately I've been on a neon kick which is very out of character for me, love the turquoise and teal! 🐞

I absolutely love this piece and watching you paint! That deli paper idea is very cool! I paint on rocks, but am going to try it! What do you adhere it with? Liquitex matte medium? Thanks.

Thank you so much! Yes I use a fluid satin medium but sometimes I use gel when I need more 'oomph' for other heavier papers. 😅

I was wondering, does that stamp backing come with the stamp, or is it like a separate…plaque? I noticed in another video you placed a stamp onto another backing as well. I find it extremely tedious trying to place stamps on with just the fingers, been wondering if there’s some sort of mount/holder that can be used to make it more ergonomic

Yes! It's actually called a stamp mount. 😁 Works great for those flat sheets of stamps you get--just pop it on a mount and it gives you more leverage when stamping.
