Gelli plate sessions are the best! That neurographic of the black lines over the multicolored print looks like a close up of butterfly wings! So beautiful. You could do a butterfly journal. 🦋

Mornin’ sunshine and kind Krafty friends. I have been curious how to gelli print every time you mention it. Interesting. I love the creations. You do such a good job of explaining your processes. I truly appreciate how you break it down so even a novice can understand. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Hubby went to a fishing tournament and I spent the entire weekend in the craftroom! I put the forgotten friends playlist on the TV and chatted along and crafted! Your sense of humor cracks me up. We are kindred spirits for sure! Blessings for successful craft creations!

I love days like this, Gayle!!! You have got me so curious and wanting to try this type of gelli printing. I didn't know anything about it till I learned about it from you. I do know of a trick, tho from other sources, so your paint gets down into your stencils. After you lay the paper, a clean, dry brayer can help press the paper down into the stencil. ❤❤ Loved crafting with you today!!

Good afternoon ! 🤗. Love mixed media Mondays & every time you do geli prints I tell myself I’m going to buy some geli plates but I haven’t yet. They are rather prices but I may have to break down & do it. 😊

Gayle how fun! I gelli vicariously through you as I don’t have the plate but I love to watch you and Ceri create. I don’t know anything about it but another video I watched the woman had two brayers one for spreading the paint and a “clean “ one to use on the back of the paper to pick up the paint. She said it helped to get into the stencil. Have you seen that technique? Love the video

So much fun. Shannon Greene has a bunch of the Nerographic stencils too! I think you need a few more. Have you tried the newer color shift paints. They turn out really cool on gelli prints. If you haven’t tried them next time your at the craft store grab a couple. They are a bit more expensive but the gelli prints turn out even cooler. It’s almost like one layer of paint looks like a couple layers.

Can’t help but notice you are wearing white for messy mixed media day. 🤪😕I love the stencils from pm artist studio. 49dragonflies uses some cool modern ones like the neurographic stencil. I’ve not seen these border and floral type one. Will have to go look. Fun projects. They will come in handy in the future.

I’m a beginner Gelli printer but my painty friends tell me when you want to clean your stencils put in a water with a dish washing cube. 😄
