Nice video bro…thanks for sharing …quick question..wut os are u using to screen/audio record? I’m still using Catalina for ProTools, but it won’t allow me to screen record with audio.

A tip is going from one compressor into another one. Shouldn't even do more compression than that. let the first hit like -7db reduction and second one almost nothing, and add gain with your compressor.

thanks for the comment! yeah when you watch again, you'll notice that the second compressor isn't doing much gain reduction as the first. And yes, pay attention to the meters, but most importantly do what sounds good!

By chance can you find out what kind of mic this was recorded on ? Im using a u87 but in tired if the harshness

tlm 102 and for your harshness problem, watch my subtractive EQ video and in this Mix from Scratch video you should rewatch from timestamp 12:30 for a secret trick on how I deal with harshness!

And honestly IMO spent waay too much time and too many plug ins on the vocals. An EQ and a compressor would have been enough + fx
