seems dolby atmos is for kids, anything with rgb and features. if i had a ear on the top of my head it would work but really dolby atmos looks to be how movies were 3d for a bit then people relized it doesnt make movies more immersive or better.

I agree, we as humans have 2 ears so stereo will be the optimal format. Sounds can move around me. I shouldn't have to move to experience that. Maybe there is a place for atmos, but music as an art form will remain stereo primarily.

it seems to be doing that though, I listened to this on my MacBook speakers and could hear the sound moving around so I think it converts it to stereo while maintaining surround format. @@jstov
