I was wanting to ask, is a Midas M32C worth it in 2023? I see a lot of persons on Facebook are selling their digital consoles and moving to the 32 rack, or 32c rack. I did a show with my XR18 and it was good, but I felt I need more inputs, and I plan on doing a Cardioid set up soon with my subs so more outputs, great video as always!

If you ask me I will always choose the mixer with faders. Every single time. I just don't think it's possible to work fast enough or reliably enough with an iPad. I've got a regular iPad gig on an M32 and it's always so cumbersome. Besides, you can always connect an iPad to the M32 anyway. Another note, I love the X/M32 but I've heard support from the manufacturer can be a bit absent if you need repairs or spare parts. If you can stretch the budget, the sq5 by Allen and heath is great. But yeah, I love an M32. Provided it has faders.
