In this video we are highlighting some 500 series stuff. ‪@tridentaudiodevelopments‬ sent me over a pair of their famous 500 series mic pre's and EQ's to demo! I was super surprised with how well the Pre's sounded. I love them. The EQ's are amazing as well. Was able to get a lightly compressed raw mix to sound pretty awesome. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

Cool video. Missed the opportunity to run everything back through the preamps for some saturation goodness. I bet the difference would have been even greater. Everything sounded good bro, well done

Thanks man. Means a lot! Was going to do that but overlooked that step lol. I’m working on a mixbus Pre amp shootout and The tridents will be included. Might use the same audio as an example haha.

I am lucky to work in a Trident 80B Console for tracking, and we eq during tracking and the recordings always sounds already mixed and that is before using any compressor or any other process

I have a pair of the EQs and I really love them, but am interested also in the preamp, how do they (preamps) sound on Keyboards and pianos, compared to API audio ?

I’m honestly not sure. They both are insanely great Pres. I would say that the tridents stack up with API 512c’s
