The Pultec EQ is a very popular analog EQ. It's known for it's beautiful tone that it adds to vocals, drums, bass, 808s, and also the mix bus. In this video I do a full breakdown of how to use this type of EQ. You can apply this technique in Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, Ableton, or any other DAW.

I use this EQ on 90% of my music releases globally. The first time I saw this was in the recording studio at the Motown Museum. I said to myself this is the EQ behind all the Motown Hits!
