Without ever hearing the story I KNEW he was going to say, Randy Brown! Because he reminds me of him too! ... Randy scored big in college maybe as much of a scorer as Arizona Gilbert, he just realized his job in the NBA was going to be defense. Mike saw Randy in practice.

I went to that camp in 99' & 00' the year Gil was there, (I was 15 &16) and that's when I became a fan of Gil. He would KILL in those counselor games. Followed his whole career from that point on. And he was mad cool too.

The high school I went to was loaded and top division at that time (98'-02'). 3 of the players I played with went on to play professionally. 2 overseas and one to the NBA (Alex Acker/drafted by the Detroit Pistions). Needless to say I was coming off the bench lol. I coach HS hoops now tho.
