Omg if your plate was covered THAT’S WHY YOU WERE PULLED OVER GENIUS!! Then he ran your name & the VIN, saw that you had no license or insurance thus the car was towed. Case closed! Everyone has to be a victim 🤦‍♂️

He's trying to say that he didn't get an i.d that they made a mistake, which this guy is so dumb he probably went in there and said "I need an i.d" because he lost his license and he totally thought the i.d was his license and i.ds are good for much longer so it probably expired not long ago, that's why when the cop told him he had an i.d and license the dude thought he was saying he had 2 licenses because he thought the i.d WAS his license.. He uses the terms interchangeably and probably never knew you could get a regular i.d that looks just like a license, it just says i.d and not license but he thinks they're the same thing....

In Arizona you only have to redo your photo every 12 years. Your license doesn't have to renew for years.

I don't know what it's like in IL but here in OR when you get an ID it says IDENTIFICATION CARD - THIS IS NOT A DRIVERS LICENSE. Whereas your drivers license says DRIVERS LICENSE. Also, how fancy are your new license plates? Is there a button inside the car that blacks out or covers your plate when you don't want people to see them?

It used to be that when renewing your license in Michigan, you were required to take a "written test" to renew. Since that "era", you no longer have to take "written test", just an eye test. So if he is referring to a "written test" as opposed to an actual "driving test" would be a totally different story. No one at DMV would have converted a license to a "Michigan ID" is just ridiculous. He would have HAD to ask for a Michigan ID. I really wish they would institute the "written test" to renew with so many people not knowing who has the right of way when merging or at a four way stop. Or having to stop at ANY traffic light that is out. Just simple offenses that cause accidents.

I'm a white mom with both white and minority children. My white kids could walk around our neighborhood with no problem. My minority son would get hassled by police... for no reason other than "walking while brown." Profiling does happen.
