This is why I like Jade so much, she was good in MK11

TBH, I still can’t wrap my head around the Tarkatans suddenly being portrayed in such a wimpy light compared to their past portrayals. In previous games, the Tarkatans were almost always foot soldiers for the main villain, but they (being humanoid/demonic hybrids according to canon descriptions of them) were still proud, warlike sorts who viciously fought to the death without either showing mercy to those they killed or begging for any mercy when they were killed themselves. But in this game, especially in the near-execution scene and when Jade encounters that one female Tarkatan (and don’t even get me started on HER), suddenly they’re these teary-eyed innocent bystanders trembling in fear in both of the aforementioned scenes whereas any pre-MK11 Tarkatan would’ve started lopping off heads before Jade even had a chance to speak. In fact, Jade’s assertion at the 15:51 mark that “many [[ Tarkatans ]] didn’t fight [[ them ]]” is hands-down the most pathetic bullshit I’ve ever seen in the MK storyline as a whole, because based on the Tarkatans’ past canon portrayals, the Tarkatans consider it disgraceful NOT to fight their enemies to the death (especially BECAUSE Kotal Kahn’s forces were the aggressors) and would more than likely tear to shreds any of their number who didn’t fight. Don’t get me wrong; I absolutely loved the storyline of this game as a whole, and I can even understand that the Tarkatans’ generally aggressive nature would need to be toned down to some extent to make it easier for the Forces of Light to properly recruit them into the fold. But the way it was handled here will definitely take some time to get used to, and in the meantime I felt the need to vent on my initial reaction to this part.

They totally messed up her moveset smh she was a beast to play with in mk9 and she pretty but were is her tiny bit of masculinity she had in mk9 her and Kitna look a mess especially kitsna
