Jacqui’s ending actually made me sad. I feel like hers was the most painful. She and Jax have such a loving relationship, it’s crazy. I can’t believe she couldn’t have a happy ending with her dad, and bringing her mom back, and help her dad’s mental health. Cassie, Sonya, and Johnny all had family based endings that were happy. Heck, even Jax had a good story. He would be utterly devastated by his daughter’s choice.

Sub-Zero's ending was perfect, how he wanted to redeem his clan's honor but then all he wanted was his brother mainly, that's understandable and cool too, Kuai Liang just wanted Bi-Han back by his side, all he wanted was his brother

I think most of the characters' endings are based on their personal desires. But I must admit that I think the saddest ending goes to jacqui's ending. She's willingly erasing and sacrificing her existence to prevent his Dad jax briggs to be a revenant, so she wind back the time when sindel attacked the earthrealmers, and also kitana and jade. She made sindel defeated. I think the best ending is erron's ending. You know, he sinks the hourglass into the sea of blood so the others cannot use it for their advantages. And the heroic ending goes to T800's ending.

All these endings, even Fire God Liu Kang and Shang Tsungs in story mode are canon in MK 1 (2023) story mode. What a wild ride ❤️

I like how Cassie Cage and Johnny Cage has the most restrained wishes. They don't want to set everything right or save everyone. Cassie would just like her mother back and to do her best to make her proud and Johnny learns to grow up a bit, live with the pain and learn from it to become better and also just save Sonya. Nothing massive or huge like Sonya who wants to rid the universe of cosmic evil gods or Jax who wants to change the whole world for the better.
