Jinnah is hated because he didn't envision unity but instead ensured freedom for his people. So instead of disregarding a character of such a high valour such as Jinnah who freed millions and made a country for his people why don't you learn fondly of the interesting history of the subcontinent. Jinnah fought as hard as Gandhi to free the people of India. Please have some sort of integrity to not disrespect a figure who went down in history as an idol for freedom for his people. You will never reach his level in a million years.learn before writinf

Even though I don't belong to your country, I know that Jinnah was as vital as Gandhi for freedom. He made his mind to segregate from India due to congresses indifferent attitude towards minorities. Read about "band e matram", "Vidya Mandir scheme" or the Hindu rule of 1937-39. You seem uneducated to not know the history of the construction of your own country yet you demean a glorious leader of his time because he isn't recognised by today's pop culture?? Shameful

Gandhi's only error was to assume that all humans strive to become as decent and selfless as he became. On that assumption he made his decisions. If you criticize him for being naive you would be right, but to suggest that he was evil would be both naive and evil on your part.

Gandhi integrated millions of minds singly He accepted all the tortures given smilingly To devilish violence, he never at all resorted By love and patriotism, he was comforted Gandhi is rightly the father of Indian Nation His pure emotion was filled with holy devotion His duty he discharged and was assassinated His golden principles can never be decimated.

Oh yes, and no freedom movement freed India, Its the 2nd world war who made Brits to pack their bags. No Gandhi, Nehru or any other personality did it. If England did not suffered in 2nd world war, they would be sitting in India, as we speak. Great comment goodgreatlife. Gandhi is admired because of his unique non violent agitaion

He was also a traveller and had gone to europe and japan and even to america. He was even a friend and associate of the knowned scientist Rudolf Virchow. :(

I believe that Gandhi overcame the sectarianism that divide religions. For him, the truth of the Gita and the Christian Gospel is in humans, when it negates the ego and eliminates their vices and bad habits that internal struggle of every human being, as described in the Mahabharata. As a Christian, I revere Gandhi as love and compassion of Christ to give the face of kindness to him who does evil.

Father of Indian Nation was against partition He never advocated both Nations' separation He was in general loved by Indian population He had with the British a very cordial relation British yielded to his unflinching non-cooperation He was taking the Nation with a calm emotion All his speeches were made without commotion Germany surrendered, but India got liberation.

Children of Gandhi do not loot the Country Never say that Gandhi was highly carefree About India only he had the worst worry His personal ambitions, he did just bury His children do not misuse his name For succeeding in this bad life-game Many may tarnish Gandhi's fame But, Mother India is a liberated dame.

Remain passive - that is the most effective way of activisim. Should you commit a crime by raising a finger on your enemy, then you are against us. "Should you live by the philosophy of 'an eye for an eye', then the whole world will be blind." Yes, Gandhi Ji IS a good man whom no has reached.

No, its in Geneva, Switzerland, bordering France. Geneva was the headquarters of the League of Nations and the L of N primarily used English and French as its two major languages, as the British and French colonial empires controlled much of the world at the time.

Thats right.....about the education but he was neither Selfish, nor Political leader. He offered Muslim leader to become Prime Minister to avoid partition of the country even called to dissolve Congress (the political party) as the aim of freedom had met. . He actually did some NICE THINGS, but not the RIGHT THINGS.He was so Stubborn to his belief , which left the nation even suffering today. If you know what I mean

Present day politicians save for 100 generations And they do this act through devilish corruptions They have no morals, principles or good intentions Looting and cheating are their major ambitions Noble Gandhi may face severe criticisms unreasonably But, he directed Indian population highly sensibly only Of course, he never found time to take care of his family Must this abnormal sacrifice be called a great anomaly?

I understand that it can be difficult to be positive when people seem so evil, but what I'd like to attempt to say is that good prevails if people believe in it. People support evil because they are either lazy or ignorant. Our survival rests in education and activism. You seem to care, so you should do something. Plant trees. Shower less. Teach people. Spread love. Inspire. Make the world better, but don't kill to do it.

Actually the human history is full of repeated crises, violent behaviors, wars and discriminations of all kind. Now, after running on species extinctions we may go straight to our own annihilation in the name of an imaginary better life. The solution? Teaching LOVE & COMPASSION. Today 1 billion people live with less $1 a day. The time to read that message (10 seconds) one child died because lacking food. PLEASE ACT NOW, ALL TOGETHER.
