I love that most of the heroes want to help Kuai Liang with his brother, even though he declines their offer. Kitana offering soldiers to him is going above and beyond. :3 Also, I love that pose and turn at 6:43 it's so goddamn good.

I love how you can see it in his face that it is actually heartbreaking for Bi-Han to fight with Kuai Liang. His voice literally confirms that all he wanted was to rule the world with his brother. Even tho Scorpion has no intention of coming back, he still insists for him the join. So sad 😭

@@Aivottaja Well technically if this timeline does have similarities between itself and MK11 timeline Kuai Lian becomes the new Sub Zero and Hanzo the next Scorpion. At least with Smoke on their side they have an advantage over Bi Han.

I thought i'd never get to see Kuai getting involved romatically with someone since he was always portrayed as a duty-first man. Now this is cute, I just hope he doesn't share the same destiny as Hanzo in the past timelines.

My theory is that an Umgadi came to Earthrealm for one of the tournaments that happened in Earthrealm, and met Harumi and offered to train her as an Umgadi. Harumi met Tanya during the training but decided the life wasn't for her and returned to Earthrealm to lead her clan.

With some of the leaks, now, showing that sector and sidetracks as well as noob cyborg will be DLC for the story it’s more than likely that Harumi will simply be a part of a future combat pack beyond that or just in the next game

Jesus liu Kang instead of instantly throwing bi han ti the wolves, why not get titan kuai liang on the horn and ask him how he dealt with Bi-Han? Because sub-zero in mk11 actually did pull it off and nailed it perfectly with him, and since the titan versions of everyone exist, that means everyone's ending in mk11 is canon. Which would've been the oerfect foil for Liu Kang's titan allies.

Liu Kang might not have known Bi Han had an evil heart, Raiden & Liu might have assumed the evil came from being an assassin/working with Quan Chi. Liu probably thought giving the Lin Kuei a noble purpose would fix him (it also took Kuai Liang multiple tries to "fix" Bi Han)

The ones that stood out to me the most: 4:30 great Easter egg for the animated Scorpion movie 14:09 Kabal maybe teased? One of my favorite MK characters. This is probably the closest to a possible tease depending on where this timeline places him. Could also be Kano reference 14:52 great extra character detail for the story’s beginnings at the restaurant 15:18 Great deep cut character insert with Kai (MK4, MK Deception, and MK Armageddon) 16:18 is a potent bit of character insight. I love that someone actually tells Lui Kang that he could’ve removed the idea of Mortal Kombat however he reveals that even he has limits to creative control. 18:22 is an invasion storyline that I wonder if we get to see or not 23:31 Takeda or new Scorpion?

No. She's a part of a centuries-old family of Samurai's. She's from Earthrealm. It's just that since the Tournament has been going on for centuries, it is possible that at some point Liu Kang chose someone from her family as one of his champions.

Tanya: “Your bride is no stranger to Outworld, Scorpion.” Scorpion: “You know of Harumi?” Scorpion: “You still haven’t told me how you know Harumi.” Tanya: “Only she can tell you.” Like it makes it sound like Harumi at some point after she lost contact with Kuai Liang went to train with the Umgadi.

Different Timeline = different rules. Just like Bi-Han was born a Cryomancer, Kuai Liang was born a Pyromancer. This is the same as it has always been for Sub-Zero (for both that is) - in this Timeline they just applied it to Scorpion as well.
