Man poor Tomas. Family murdered as a child. Gets taken in by the same clan that killed them. Gets treated harshly and poorly and shunned away by his eldest adopted brother who refuses to accept him his entire life. I can understand his frustrations towards Liu Kang, cause imagine finding out this being crafted history in his image and gave you such a cruel fate. At least he has Kuai who actually loves him like a brother.

One thing I noticed is that when Sindel said Edenians live so long because they are "touched by the devine", I immediately remembered Baraka telling Ashrah he was Edenian. That's probably why Tarkat "ravages his body more slowly". You learn a ton in these short exchanges.

Well his whole family was Edinian and it took them. Also Tarkat doesn’t kill you it basically takes you over and turns you into a bloodthirsty monster, so Baraka may not be safe forever he may give in and become more like his old self which was obsessed with blood and killing

@@ElliFong There's also the fact he was a tribune before he became a merchant. If the Outworld military is anything like ancient Rome, that's a very high position (it outranked a centurion). We can assume he had great discipline and mental strength. That would help him retain his sanity better than most.

Ashrah -In recent battle Quan Chi took a look on Hanzo and turned tail. Smoke - When Hanzo's training ends that sorcerer will not be *ahead* of him for long. Johnny - Tomas my man, you kid is on fire at training we listened to some techno and we fought faster. Smoke - Was it fire you listened? Kuai Liang - Stop smirking Smoke - I am so proud of him, he jumped over your jump and pinned you down.

The conversation between Geras and Bi Han shows that Kuai Liang is under Liu Kang''s protection and hopefully will stay! It may be that Hanzo Hasashi will be the next Scorpion that Smoke saved and together with Kuai Liang made the first member of the clan. I really hope that Kuai Liang and Hanzo Hasashi will remain friends as we remember their deep friendship in MK11 game! 🤝🤝

Without spoiling too much, Bi-Han will still become Noob Saibot (it's in the upcoming story expansion similar to MK11's Aftermath). That leaves the Sub-Zero spot vacant but it is unknown who will fill it: Hanzo, Kuai or Bi-Han returning to that. But I think Smoke may also have some upcoming unexpected changes because in an intro between Geras and Scorpion, Geras mentions there's something wrong with Smoke.

Smoke is just a code name just like Scorpion or Sub Zero. Smokes real name is Tomas Vrbada and he’s originally from the Czech Republic unlike Sub Zero and Scorpion who are Chinese

I dont think Chronica the bad guy who went mad like liu kang paints her. She brought balance in a non discriminative way. It was the point of her existence. Lui straight up changed peoples races and made them a disease, then gave "meaningless lives" to enemies. I feel he's over stepped. There needs to be yin and yang.

Liu Kang actually changed the timeline for the better, if not for Shang Tsung from another timeline interfering with the affairs of his timeline, while yes making Shang Tsung's and Quan Chi's life meaningless instead of turning them into better people is a bit petty of Liu Kang, it's understandable why he does that, since both of them are known to be trouble in the previous timeline. Also, I'm pretty sure Tarkat isn't Liu Kang fault based on his dialogue vs Baraka, pretty sure Liu Kang didn't even plan for Tarkat to transform into a disease.

This is why the writing is sometimes stupid in the MK games because in the story Lu Kang stated that he gave up his power to the Hourglass but in the intros its implied that he was still somehow able to write certain events throughout history? It either he has the power or doesn't and if he did the hole story could have been resolved much sooner.

With that logic there would be no new era 😂 It’s obvious through dialogue you can infer Liu Kang shaped the destiny of the new era and everyone’s fates to go according to plan (basically give everyone the life they wanted except the threats who now either serve others or live meaningless lives) and then gave up his power after his creation so he can live among it and see his own creation unfold exactly how it was supposed to (at least until “Kronika” appeared and altered some destinies which changed the course of everything)
