MK6 GTI XFORCE EXHAUST | CATLESS DOWNPIPE | COLD START

Here’s a cold start of my Integrated Engineering Stage 2 mk6 GTI. The exhaust setup is a Raceland catless downpipe paired with an XForce catback exhaust. This was when the temperature was below 40 degrees fahrenheit so although this was a cold start, it was not as loud as possible. Volkswagen lowered/disabled cold starts on these motors once it gets below 40 degrees fahrenheit. I will upload a louder cold start when the temperature warms up at a later date!

where did you get the raceland downpipe? I’m looking for one but I can’t find it for sale anywhere

I just checked and it doesn't look like Raceland offers catless downpipes anymore. Many companies are starting to stop production on them because they don't pass emissions for states that have emissions. If you want a catless downpipe then I would just buy one off of eBay. If you want a catted downpipe/high-flow cat then make sure you buy one from a reputable company. A catless downpipe is pretty much just stainless steel so there many companies are equivalent to eBay's catless downpipes

@@ian.ashworth Thanks for the help bro! I’m running an Xforce catback also so I think I’m going to go with their catted dp. It’s 100 cell so it’ll pass emissions and still be flowy and sound good. Also here in Canada it’s hard to find a lot of the parts you guys get in the States without paying outrageous amounts. The xforce downpipe should fit perfectly too which is a plus

bro what the hell is your car, I have a 2011 mk6 gti I also live in ohio in westerville ohio to be exact, could you tell me where you installed the pipe? I want my car to sound something like that too

I no longer have my valves setup, it pretty much is just very raspy and holds sound back a little bit but not a lot. Without a downpipe and the valves closed it sounds pretty close to stock.
