PLEASE USE PROPER PRECAUTIONS WHEN JACKING UP A VEHICLE WITH THE PARKING BRAKE OFF!
This general procedure can be applied to many makes and models of electron parking brakes, however some systems may vary completely in their design so be careful and research before attempting this with a non VAG vehicle.
