THANK you so so much!!! Just yesterday crossed the 10K barrier and I am so so happy about it!!!
As promised I was experimenting a bit more with the "wing pour tool" and see if it works each time or what parameters need to be taken into consideration. This video contains 4 pouring attemps and their results showing you what to do and what to avoid. Have fun creating!!

Indeed!! You know how long realism takes and tricky it is to get the exact look that you want to achieve and how nerve wrecking it can become...same issues with the pouring but it is soooo much more relaxing and instantly rewarding (if successful).....so it is a real relieve after a long painting day :)

pretty easy...glue, hot glue or powerstrips work fine. It onle needs to hold through the first pour and after that the dried acrylic paint will keep everything in place forever :)

I was panicking hoping you left the wings as is . I hope you keep one of each then if you HAVE TO ADD to a canvas make another and know when to stop because the ones i saw are FAB. Ha! So is your accent and that little laugh that you do.. cracks me up. ALSO, thanks for working as you talk. I just wrote a LONG comment regarding that very issue....i have sat for many minutes MANY times just waiting for the artist stirring paint , hunting for a lost video item and the talking and talking about whatever with NO painting plan. You are fast and have a good idea and as you put it ....your brain wired around. Things 😻

Barbara Bordner awwwww thank you so much for that sweet comment!! Yeah I am with you there. I like to have my videos crisper and edited to the essential stuff than letting it run 30 minutes for just what it is. I still feel I sometimes talk way too much but there is the mute function and the videos are still shorter 😅😅 glad you like the wings. I did a couple of them but there are some other cool results in my „awesome results“ playlist :))

I couldn't figure out which one of these wing pours I liked best. The blue negative space pour had a different feel to it but I was attracted more to the 3rd pour. You are so impressive! Your realistic portraits are amazing! Your pours are always interesting & I admire that you never give up. Those wing pours are so difficult. I have tried three. The first came out best but did not look like a wing, the second was worse & the third looked like a dirty pour. I need to try this on a long canvas. Keep on keeping on & congratulations on all your subscribers! You have so much to teach us all! Thank you. I do like the blue!

Thank you for sharing your experiments. I tried a couple of wing pours that didn't look anything like wings. You at least got feathering.

I don't know for sure...well there is actually pouring medium which is readily mixed but when it comes to already mixed paint...never seen that so far...

Each one, the more I look at them the better I liked them all. The uneven background paints threw me off at first. But, it grows on you. Well done and so much fun to watch you play with the paints.

Congratulations on 10K viewers!!!! This is really exciting. I thought these paintings were interesting when you flip them over and make the top the bottom. This gives the works a totally different and exciting look. This is the fun thing with abstracts. You can really play with them.

If all the "wing pours" came out predictably, it would be borning! I like it better when there is variance, rougher edges better. I have noticed that I need to lighten up my paints before adding pouring medium and float medium... The mediums lighten up the wet paints significantly, so when they dry, they become very dark... huge color shift. The pour when you asked about it, when you said that, I thought of Dr. Seuss' characters... I really like the black outline inbetween the other colors. Tried silver instead of gold and copper? Adding mica to the surface? Adding glow medium to lighter colors? Using fine squirt bottles or industrial syringes filled with paint? You can rubberband them together, push them out together, or vary.. adding and subtracting, kind of like making a pattern in weaving. Making partially clear layers, glazing pours? I'm working on these... Loving experimenting with these! Varying viscosity of paints used? This is some seriously fun stuff! Enjoying this very much!

the pouring offer so many, actually unlimited options...Although I like experimenting I am not looking too much for stuff to pour over or paint out...I am more into the design pours after all the techniques that I have tried so far but I always love to see what others come up with and the results that they get :))
