Alrighty guys, how's it going? I haven't made a new track or dropped anything flat in awhile. Sorry about that. I got really invested in a lot of stuff, and been trying to flip a lot of life stuff for the better where I can.
It feels kind of refreshing. I've been playing a shitload of lounge and competitive to try to get a better understanding of the game on that level and I think I've learned a lot and actually have seen some improvements in figuring out the game mechanically more, but I wanted to make a new track over the past few weeks since I enjoy the tracks Nintendo made for vanilla a lot, and felt like trying to make one that felt like love letters to MT, MG, BC, TF, DKS and WGM all in one, hopefully the influences are apparent and done well :) (Also no worries, I'll work on some more complex designs as well soon too, just wanna keep a few tame and just really solid without any baloney.)
I'm actually really happy with how this turned out generally. I think there's like one or two things I'd want to iron out or strat test, especially for an online setting, but I think it generally would play very nice, and my main goal was the same as it was on Darkest Night, which is to make a punchy track that's obviously solid and plays good, I need a few more of those if life gives me the chances to make stuff like that. I have another great idea for a track that I really want to do soon, assuming I have the opportunity. Expect another one in the future, hopefully not too far off. I kept this one mostly secret, so people would be more excited when it dropped randomly.
Lately you can find me especially on Lounge, so if you search out the discord for it, I'm there frequently. I think it's a good place to hone your skills and get better, even if it's frustrating sometimes. It's worth the experience if nothing else. I think I've invested like 300-400 events already in there lmao
But yeah, thanks for reading the description and watching the videos. I usually leave some secrets or random shit here if you read them, or random personal tidbits cause why not. Sorry for the random audio cutout at the end lol, I think I missed an audio transition to fade out at the end, but it's not worth reexporting to fix just that, I don't think, as I type this at 5:09 am lmfao.
