I remember my Dad and I had Opening Day tickets for the Milwaukee Brewers. I was all set to go. I had my glove and hat all set. We had a cooler and grill. Although in April we usually skipped all that and ate inside...lol. I went to bed dreaming about the game. I woke up at 6am. I ran out to the kitchen all ready to rock.....and then depression set in. The TV was on, they were announcing school closings? Why? I looked outside. 8 inches of snow, maybe more, had blanketed Milwaukee. So my day off of school to go to the Brewers Opening Day became a snow day. I NEVER cried over a snow day. Never before that day, or after. But Mother Nature kicked me in the nuts that day and it HURT!!

This title got me thinking, theres no real penalties in baseball. The only one you could count as a penalty is a Baulk because baserunners get to advance giving them a slight advantage to score. Maybe errors if you stretch the definition of a penalty.
