What about Jarod Parker? The dude put up pretty decent numbers for the A's during there 2012-2013 playoff runs. He posted an 3.68 Era over his short lived career where he only played in 2 seasons and posted a pretty good record of 25-16 with 275 strikeouts and a WAR of 6.5. he was a pitcher who could've been pretty good for the A's during their playoffs years, but injuries derailed his career.

Here's your Indians pitcher for part 5: Cameron Cairncross. After his pro career was nearly derailed by injuries, he's able to stay healthy for the first time in years in 2000 at age 28 and put up a 1.67 ERA between AA/AAA. The Indians called him up and he posted a 3.86 ERA over 15 games down the stretch as the Indians won the AL Central. He never threw another professional pitch after that season. . . . Or: Chad Paronto. 4.04 ERA for the 2002 Indians. May not really fit as he had 2 very good years in '06-'07, but for the Braves, before he disappeared. . . . Or: Jack Cressend. 2003 Indians; 33 GP, 2.51 ERA, 1.14 WHIP. Other 4 years of his career; 89 GP, 4.82 ERA, 1.56 WHIP. . . . Or: Matt Miller. Career: 100 GP, 2.72 ERA from '03-'07. '04-'05 with Indians: 80 GP, 2.65 ERA, 1.14 WHIP; then only appeared in 16 more big league games. The point is you've only begun to scratch the surface when it comes to Indians pitchers who shined brightly for a short period of time before being forgotten.

Perez was an absolute stud in 2007, then every year afterward I dreaded seeing him. I remember one game where the Indians were in the midst of blowing a huge lead to the Brewers and they brought in Perez to face Prince Fielder with the bases loaded. I knew that lead was gone the moment he stepped out of the bullpen. Prince hit a hanging nothing and I swear I've never heard a louder bat-on-ball impact.

Jim Henderson is a good one. He had 2 good years with the brewers and then vanished. Finally cracked the majors at 29 too.

Danny Barnes. Was really good for the jays in 2016 out of the bullpen but was out of the league in 2018

I always remember Jeff Locke because I always think of him (as well as NFL player Jeff Lock) when I see a local business called Jeff's Lock.

Here's an interesting one for ya, steve delabar, relief pitcher for the jays. I believe he got an allstar nod as a final write in candidate or something

Seigrist was always tough when he pitched against the cubs, a very crafty lefty with decent fastball velocity.

small correction because of my Marlin love: Saltalamacchia wasn’t a part of the Blue Jay trade, he was one of the few free agent signings the Marlins made in the middle of the decade. Jeff Mathis and John Buck were part of the trade though

Definitely knew Jeff Locke was coming up when he said "Pirates pitcher". I'm a Nats fan and I always remember watching Jeff Locke completely shut down the Nationals.
