All summer long I've languished in the heat, deprived of a significant weather event to call my own. But no longer!!! This was the most fun I've had at my field in a long time. For two days in a row flight operations were interrupted by sudden significant storms (alliteration). Brace oneselves for go-arounds, lightning strikes, windshear alerts & microbursts. There's going to be a lot of yelling. If you don't like it you can change the KZfaq channel.

Great video! Just started watching your videos a few weeks ago! They are amazing! My favorite part is when the Delta 737-800 was blocking the Qatar Cargo 777F at 8:45 And nice shots of the microburst! 👍

I’ll never forget when a Delta plane crashed in DFW from a microburst. My mother was a flight attendant for Delta at the time I was very glad but I knew she was home because she flew in and out of Dallas all the time

That was Delta 191. I actually lived in Dallas at the time. I was probably 6yrs old. A few days after the crash we had a flight out of DFW & the tail section was still out there

@@mlcochran78 wow I feel old 😂 . I had a 6 year old and 9 year old. I love watching planes ( especially Delta). Thanks for providing away for me to watch. I live near Memphis and I enjoy sitting at the airport watching FedEx every five minutes takeoff and land.

@@mlcochran78 DFW taxi is the lloonnggeessttt 30 minutes of life. American Airlines loves to cut off beverage service and never seems to have restrooms that work from MCI (KC) to DFW. Get sick of flying that route. Think I'd rather hit the road anymore with the crazy shiet that goes on in flight. It's NUTZ!!!!!
