Same! So epic. I’m wondering why a hinderance wasn’t called since the point wasn’t over when she screamed during that point.

I was able to watch parts of the match in person. 12:56 Carolina has little, to no team chemistry. It’s hard to win a team sport without chemistry. They did not seem to enjoy each other’s company on or off the court in the matches.

I’m not surprised. Jesse isn’t great in general. I remember when she played with Tellez (a lefty) and she didn’t want to do a full stack. That told me a lot about her level of commitment. Plus, she makes a lot of mistakes. Not sure why Ben drafted her. And Koop just doesn’t play enough unfortunately.

I continue to be amazed at the nonstop, mostly useless chatter that pickleball allows from their commentators. Would seriously rather just have mics on the courts without commentators. Like, I want to watch these games. But the mindless blabbering from the announcers paired with the embarrassing stream of yells from the DC ladies made this match nearly intolerable to get through.

I agree about the commentators bit. I especially can’t stand Dave Fleming and “Meesh”. So corny, cringe, and they talk over the judges calling the score. Can’t believe they’re the head commentators.

Who ever the sports analysis were for this match, you were absolutely terrible. You should be fired. You’re horrible at your job. I had to turn mute on during the second mix doubles match. Horrible
