This is by far the worst match Klinger played in this entire weekend event. He got them in quite a hole to start out. Hard to recover from that big of a deficit. Maybe he was just nervous playing against Ben.

Felt bad for Jesse. Such a great, consistent player usually, but seems to have lost some confidence. It can't help that Ben Johns was taking about 95% of the court and treating her as a prop. Didn't see any encouraging words or actions from him to help her get any confidence back; then after their match he walked away from her like a disease. This, plus his accidental hot-mic disparaging comments about Hurricane Tyra Black, makes me think less of him.

I continue to be amazed at the nonstop, mostly useless chatter that pickleball allows from their commentators. Would seriously rather just have mics on the courts without commentators. Like, I want to watch these games. But the mindless blabbering from the announcers paired with the embarrassing stream of yells from the DC ladies made this match nearly intolerable to get through.

The male commentator is so biased and off! Can we please get a different male commentator! The female is great…she covers for him well and her voice is great!

I was able to watch parts of the match in person. 12:56 Carolina has little, to no team chemistry. It’s hard to win a team sport without chemistry. They did not seem to enjoy each other’s company on or off the court in the matches.

In rally scoring it’s really hard to be trailing by 10 or more points like the Black Diamonds were in most of these games. That’s how dominant the Flash was. That was an azz whipping.
