@weestv2 I think is due he is not fluent in English and was effected by the jetlag. He also responded in a interview in Spanish right after the fight, he's clear his next opponent is Max and that he wasn't impressed by his skills.

I wanna give the fight to Ilia but he did defeat Volk who beat Max a few times. And he is also on a winning streak and in his prime. But Max has caught his second wind. It will be an exciting fight for sure.
