It's entertaining for casual fans, fans who don't have a notion of what a mma fight is and watch UFC fights because they like to see blood... Those fans who know the sport, want to see Gaethje win without exposing themselves so stupidly and less against such inferior opponents. At any moment a medical exam will be negative and you won't be able to fight in the UFC, who will remember you?

I'd like them to give Gaethje an easier opponent next time. His first three UFC opponents were all near or in the top 5, and he went 1-2 in three great fights. I'd like to see him versus someone in the top 15 just to give him a breather and see where he stands. Give him someone like Pettis or Dariush.

He can remain an aggressive brawler with better head movement and defense and still be champion. Look at robbie lawler, he made money, became champ and never had a single boring fight. Justin's a better wrestler than robbie and can easily be champ if he learns striking defense, because defense stays with you but chin doesnt.

So many people said he’s not good enough to make it in the ufc when he was fighting for World Series fighting but he’s proving them wrong. He’s gone toe to toe with some legit guys, all his ufc fights have been good ass fighters. But I will say ufc fighters are a different animal for sure. He’s never lost before entering the ufc and he’s finding out these dudes are much more technical faster and stronger mentally and physically. Other guys would’ve collapsed from those leg kicks like he has to all his previous opponents but Dustin was a true warrior and fought through those leg kicks and pain. It was truely inspiring seeing Dustin fight through those leg kicks and get the knockout. But much respect to Justin, he will be around cause people want to see him fight and people will tune in. That’s all the ufc cares about. The ufc will not cut you when you having fight of the year fights every fight and instant classics with whoever you fight. His fight style is reckless but super entertaining cause he makes other fighters fight his kinda brawling high pressure fight.

Justin has a better chance against Khabib ( provided he uses his wrestling skills) than Dustin...Khabib is not the one to trade punches like Justin.

The fact he doesn't care about winning, and it's just for entertainment and money makes me dislike him. This is a sport and I wanna see people compete, the fact he says he has 5 fights left, and doesn't even care about being a champ is just a turn off. Fun to watch but I'll never root for someone who doesn't care about winning.

Justin might not have the best fighting style but realistically he can and will still break most of the fighters he will come across. Not a lot of fighters have the skills or heart to beat him. His pace is crazy.

Dustin would have lost the 3rd but 9-9 with the point deduction for the second eyepoke. You can make a case that Dustin won the first 2 rounds. I thought 1st was close could go either way. Dustin won the 2nd pretty clearly. 3rd was 9-9 so it was a draw or Dustin up 29-27 going into the 4th. Didn't matter with the finish.
