Yeah, to all of those who think landon is a fake, you have no clue. He had a bad experience in Germany when he was younger, and when players aren't happy they don't play well. He has also said multiple times that he is happy playing in the MLS, here in America. Also, he's the US leading national team scorer. As in the team that beat Spain in the confed cup....GO USA

If US want to reach the next level, it's simply about playing with top level athletes. Donovan is our golden boy and if he doesn't play full time in Europe and decides to retire in MLS, then that's a waste of talent. And this is coming from someone who lives in the South Bay, 10 minutes away from the Home Depot Center, where I've had the privilege of watching Landon grow through LAG and USMNT.

for those saying he should go to the premier league for better competition I have 2 points to make. 1) Yes he would have better competition it would make him a better player and help the mens team for his preparation. on the other hand 2) Landon is staying in the MLS to help promote soccer or (Futbol) in the U.S. how is the MLS going to get better if all our stars leave? FYI @panchitaforever Landon signed with Bayer Leverkusen at age 18 then decided to come back home. Also loaned to Bayern Munich last season. Will be picked up by either Chelsea or Villareal next season
