I haven't seen Mo since he was on the Daily Show (aside from occasional articles he's written), and I loved him there. I don't remember his voice being so nasal, but maybe that's what the producer wants.

If Mo Rocca is able to speak with a different sounding voice, I don't want to hear it. That is his brand! I first heard it on "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me." The NPR radio quiz show. I wouldn't have recognized him if he changed his voice.

Would not ripening them before the store lower the cost? At almost $1/pound in some places, would like my bananas to last more than 3 days.

Bananas are the cheapest fruit, but if they could bring out unripened bananas at an even lower price, I would buy some. I try to buy a range of ripeness, but the stores often remove the ripe (spotted) ones from the sales floor. One store, (99 Cents Only) sells extra ripe bananas for a reduced price: 25 cents a pound! Fortunately for me, most people don't like them that ripe.

I can't eat them anymore. They've become too acidic. Chiquita used to be the best. Now they're too acidic too.
