After Yui officially left Babymetal, the Amuse management looked at ending Babymetal. Su and Moa told them that they wanted to continue, management listened either to Su and Moa or maybe to the FOX God. In the Singapore documentary at the beginning there is a clip of them on the airplane. Yui and Moa awake and Su is asleep with her head in Moa's lap. Having watched 100's of videos of them while Yui and Moa were bonded, Su and Moa had and have a special bond. Today as Su works with the song, Moa creates the prime dance steps for the song. They have said they will always take care of the other. That bond is why we still have Babymetal to love and enjoy!!

When you know how much fans love them, you know how sad and miss Yui the fans are after Yui left. BabyMetal and fans are like growing children experiencing happiness, sadness and pain and then grow up.

So hard watching this, never did I ever think Yui would leave. I just hope she is happy. May the Fox God return our Angel of Cuteness. 🙏🦊👐🥺

I was still recovering from the previous reaction to Su's surprise party... And then this. Kawaii overload.

So, I've done a lot of research on BABYMETAL for the guide video I made, and I'll give you what the most likely scenario was. Yui has always been the best dancer in BABYMETAL and she alwsy went 110% for all their shows. However, in her last few shows you could see she was barely doing some of the moves, which is unlike her. You can also see some pictures from those shows were it looks like she is wearing a back brace. The last thing, her face looked a bit "puffier" than usual, which is a common side effect to certain medicines that are sometimes prescribed for back pain. So, while nothing is for certain, my best guess is that she had some kind of back injury that has prevented her from performing, and back injuries like that just don't go away. Again, this is all conjecture, nobody truly knows what is going on. Also, I am not sure where you seen or heard that "Yui still works with BABYMETAL behind the scenes" thing, because I have never seen or heard that anywhere. Everything I have seen in my research says the opposite of that. I don't think they expect Yui to be a part of BABYMETAL again. Su and Moa have said in interviews that it was difficult when Yui left, but they still talk to her and that she is doing well. Moa also said that Yui has grown into a very beautiful woman. So, let's just hope that Yui is happy doing whatever it is she is doing these days. That very last picture pushed me over the edge. :-( But as you said, we fans often talk about how much we miss Yui, but imagine how hard it must be for Su and Moa. They have spent most od their lives together. On the other hand, they might be seeing her every day, who knows. Let's just hope they are happy.

It's very possible we might never learn what happened with Yui, just due to how Japanese culture is. Most Japanese bands only play and market to their home country, and their fandom is not like us, where they demand to know about lifechanging circumstances that affect the band directly. They just roll with it and accept it as is ("Shikatanai, Shouganai"). But also keep in mind Yui is 21 years old, which means she'll probably live to be a hundred....which is like 80 years from now. Japan may be an entirely different society by then, so things may come out way way way down the road.

7:07 what is amazing, I think this was Moa and Yui went to a house hold products or otherwise convention with one of the Babymetal female staff... the day or 2 before their big Budokan shows !Nope, no info about Yui's health, as I understand it it's pretty normal in Japan to not talk about health, it's a private matter. The way I see it, Yui had to leave because she realized she can't return to do full Babymetal tours. It's a lot of hard work. The best 'evidence' we got is she might have had a back problem or similar, if she couldn't return after a year, it's clear it might not be a good idea to perform like that in Babymetal again. With the whole touring schedule. As I understand it after a year she mostly recovered, which probably means she can have a normal life I think she is busy with her education and will go into acting.

Some things will be forever, "Only the Fox God knows." I was at the first concert post-Yui in Kansas City and Moa was on the verge of tears most of the night. Nobody knew what was going on. It was obvious that Yui likely sustained some sort of back injury, as she was wearing a fairly obvious back brace on several occasions on-stage. Losing both Mikio and Yui was a major blow to Babymetal.

It was a sad day when Yui left BM. There will never be the same trinity. But I only try to remember how great to see all 3 together. We were lucky to have seen Yui with Su & Moa for as long as we did. Yui get better and be as successful with anything you decide to do in the future. A healthy Yui will make this world a better place.

Yui is still on the amuse roster because amuse owns all the rights to all the girls music from babymetal and sakura gakuin so if yui does make a return to music yui will be going solo as its said once before and amuse kept her on the roster to continue working with her music when the time comes also in the last reaction you did so one of the girls from that video did not pursue to being a pop artist instead she followed her dream to being a nurse and now she became a front line worker in japan due to the pandemic very proud of what she accomplished

I like this tribute but i have the same complain about it that Magz mentioned, good song thou, just in case anyone don't know is from One Ok Rock, a boy rock band under the seal of Amuse (same as Babymetal), wich bass player is Avril Lavigne's brother in law o_O Anyway regarding of Yui's withdraw, we know for sure that Yui won't come back to Babymetal at least as the way she used to be, is true she's still under Amuse -wing- thou. On early SuMetal and MoaMetal interviews they said Yui's leaving was very hard for them because they were like sisters, at first they leave Yui's spot waiting for her return but after a year when finally Yui decides to not return and follow his own path, they were already get used to the changes not having Yui and of course they decide to follow up with Babymetal and supporting whatever Yui's decision takes for her life because they love her and nothing gonna change that. They were asked many times about Yui's withdraw and on laters interviews when asked about remember last concerts together, SuMetal said it weren't really special per se, i think because they were normal shows and not big shows like Tokyo Dome or Budokan to be specially remembered, it was they're last show together and that's it, some people might said or think they're so cold about it but actually is good to know they healed those wounds and they pushed together forward as a duo and ultimately as a team because they know Babymetal is not along just the two of them. As always is so nice to watch LVT dying of cuteness with the girls, trust me, there's still more to come if you carry on. Kitsune up! \m/

From what I've read, the speculation among some fans in Japan is that the immediate reason for Yui's departure was a bad back but that it was really burnout. She has a very low-key, mellow personality, and the constant touring, PR activities, and the close supervision exercised by the Amuse agency that handles Babymetal got to her. Su is totally goal-directed, Moa is intense and blows off steam onstage, and they were better able to handle the pressure. A clue is the note Yui wrote when it was officially announced she'd left Babymetal in 2018. She talks about eventually coming back as simply "Yui Mizuno"--this is a classic burnout symptom, asserting your own identity as opposed to what your handlers want you to be ("Yui-metal").

From what I've heard, two of the Avengers have moved on to other projects, lately, leaving just Momoko (I think) to do the job. So I'm guessing they haven't promoted her because of the chance of a Yui return. So if they ever do make her, or someone else, "official", then we'll know Yui's not coming back. Great job, guys!

So if you want to see it just say the word and I'll make sure you see it😊 (I'm gonna make sure you see it anyway though)

An injury that won’t stand up to the strenuous work they do on stage may be the reason Yui won’t be back. Injuries should have been a concern from the start. Teens use a lot of energy just growing and developing internally. Add continuous physical exercise with not enough time for recovery and something has to give.

We all want Yui back - but there might be some obstacles we don't know. Imagine the possibility of Yui being two inches taller than Sue, meanwhile she is full-grown now. Have you ever watched? Sue is wearing some heals to keep a small difference, Moa and Riho wear really flat shoe soles optimized for dancing . . . Correct me please, if I'm wrong.

The last time we heard something from Yui was when she left Babymetal, the Sakura Gakuin 10th Anniversary Book will have comments from the whole alumni, and I hope we will hear something more than the generic "Sakura Gakuin was great ....." from her. You know, before I know BABYMETAL the word "adorable" in my opinion only applies to babies and toddlers. Because in my experience pre-teen girls mostly annoying😂😂

It created an unbalance in the universe when Yui left BabMetal and the world went to s**t. She needs to come back to restore that balance. Could you imagine the ticket sales or even a “pay for view” event if the Tomato Princess did start to perform with BabyMetal again.

My only complaint is the song. Please Japanese people, if you're going to make a song in english please consult an english speaker to make sure it makes sense. I'll do it for free. Not a Japanese 'english teacher'. Not that this one is especially bad i've heard worse. But the fake country was a little bit cringy too. It was kind of cute though too.
