I upscaled the motd intro to be 2k resolution! I also pulled the raw audio from the game files. This is truly the highest quality you can view this intro cutscene. Enjoy! Subscribe to me: / @kompst_tu

Honestly I hated the beginning of the supernatural shit with the storyline. The idea the zombie apocalypse was kicking off and we were just getting vignettes of every place it's affected (115 zombies breaking into the pentagon, zombies breaking out in Alcatraz, undead waking up near the coast of Tunguska ) was more interesting then whatever the hell black ops 2 or 3 started with the Ether.

I totally agree, I absolutely despise the scifi fantasy bullshit with the dragons and ancient beings. It is so far removed from what made this cool. It just looks like a big jumbled fantasy mess with no direction. Back in the day it was all about the mysterious 115 and how it infected and turned people into zombies which infested different areas of the world. I liked the aether in small elements like with Richthofen taking over the zombies. Mob was a great map imo but Origins is what destroyed classic zombies for these reasons.
