nice review, pretty much the younger and more advanced version of the FX505GM (with AMD instead of Intel) but I assure that the military grade shenanigans are exaggerated by the PR guys, not to say its bad but after around two years you're gonna see some obvious wear and tear :)

I'm not sure mate. I really don't recommend importing from other regions as laptops can fail during transport.

I got mine delivered earlier today with the mid-range spec (AMD Ryzen 7 4800h, GTX 1660ti model). Honestly, it's not that bad at all and I would have gone for Acer Nitro 5 instead due to the thermal issue. But the spec along with the pricetag it comes, is "TUF" to beat! 😆 Oh, and for the thermal heating issue, there's a temporary solution to undervolt by modifying the config in the laptop settings and some tweaking with the clock speed. On a downside, this may also reduces gaming performance. Instead, a good laptop cooling pad might help by reducing at least 5-6% °C. So far, no complaints from me. I'll wait 1-2 month's time to really find it out. Great review BTW! 😉👏

Hdmi port connected to the radeon. You have to use usb-c connector if you want to connect your monitor directly to the nvidia card.

I own a previous version of Asus TUF with Ryzen 5. Pretty good laptop. I still can tolerate with the thermal issue but there are 2 things that annoy me a bit. 1. Noisy fan. 2. No indicator for Number Lock ON/OFF.

actually bought this with the 1660ti model , got discounted alil bit after ditching the free gift , got 32 gb ram at 3200mhz , and seagate barracuda 2.5 inch hard disk , gotta say , ryzen gone long ways and this laptop is actually so good lol . idle temp , browsing temp , doing stuff temp is cool and breezy 40 degree to 45 no movement , something intel needs to learn lol . And gotta say for value , the shortcomings can forgive la in my opinion . its good enough for me .

Download ryzen controller it can lower the temp by 10 degrees

It doesn't work like that mate. It most probably drop temps by nerfing the performance to lower the heat output. Laptop manufacturers need to do better at catering the thermal design to the hardware they cram into their chassis of choice.

No, Shit thermals, screen no good for video editing and gtx 2060 video card is a bit poxy for davinci resolve makes it a bit weak for anything other than gaming
