This video is an overview of how I installed the radio and the antenna
I’ve been using it for several months. I have fit during the Wicked Jeeps poker run 4 months ago, I had it during the Cohutta overlanding trip back in April. I’ve been very happy with it. The power, clarity, range is great.

I used a RADIODITTY db-20 GMRS mobile. My main reasoning is the price and the ability to transmit on wide band

Good video. I enjoy seeing how different people mount radios in their vehicles. I also use a trucker style retractable mic mount.

Thanks, I never even thought about the trucker mount until I saw one in someone else’s jeep. I knew my next radio would be that way.

I ran a radio in my side-by-side on the bottom of the roof and had to do a second mount attached to the first to see the dial better.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m hoping since making this I’ll see some better ideas and improve my mount.

The radio is fine, the molle panel is under the roof, when I have the top off I use a bestop bikini top. The antenna on the other hand, being magnetic. I would easily stick to the roll bar. But I may still relocate the antenna, this is a trial and error run
