Everyone wanted to build model kits during lockdown, because people couldn't leave their homes and searched for hobbies that they could do in their homes. The hobby got so popular that the factory couldn't keep up with demand anymore. Bandai announced the big factory extension during covid and it is supposed to start production this year.

Quest 3 is one of, possibly the cheapest current generation headset. The Quest 2 is the cheapest by far, but it's outdated and discontinued now. Although this will probably be on the Quest 2 as well, since I don't think it said Quest 3 only. It just might have some mixed reality elements that are only on Quest 3.

UC 100 next project is moving slowly. We only got the 1st Hathaway Movie and we still have 2. We are not even yet on the pre Gundam F90 era haha. I expect we will not have any crossbone movie or ova in the next 10 years hahah. Sadly thats the reality of it but atleast we are moving forward. Man once Hathaways movie is done. Hoping we move to the Half Zeta then Gundam F90 era then era of Cluster Gundam, Gundam F91 and Neo Gundam.

@@grimm697 i watched it twice, liked gundam aerial design, Suletta was a descent protagonist but the story was messy and I felt a lot of characters were just not well written and story arcs were not very good. No one crying my dude just my opinion that the latest gundam show was one of the weakest and then we have a "show" coming out that I think most gundams fans know we never needed with this format and I will give MSG: SP a watch or two if I can to give it a chance. After the best performing Gundam series in two decades, outperforming basically everything else combined aside from Seed in its first 6 months of existence judging by numbers released by Bandai itself, whilst delighting old fans as a return to form after IBO season 2 and introducing Gundam to both a new generation and international markets, you think the future of the franchise is bleak.

The show sold a lot of gundam kits and once again if you base the worth on something entirely on the money it made, it was the best gundam ever. Also episode 7,8,9 of star wars made alot of money. Lots of those movies coming out now. Captain marvel was a financial success how did the next captain marvel go? Metallica's album St. Anger was a financial success. Ask a few die hard Metallica fans that you know about that album. Point is, people are split on this show. Longtime gundam fans have been waiting for a new TV series meaning, not ova's, ona's or movies for 5 years. Let wait and see with this financial success if there is going to be a movie, series continuation or ONA for this show and let's see if similar creative decisions are made for the next TV series.

@@RX-78-2whitedevil When you refer to the future of a franchise, you are referring to how well it'll do financially and in terms of its fanbase, so obviously that's what I'm gonna be talking about. Absolutely no idea what you're talking about in terms of creative decisions though, longtime fans have lauded it as a return to form after IBO season 2.. wasn't received well, to both say the least and sugarcoat it immensely, with G Witch being faithful to the various UC tropes that IBO attempted to deconstruct and subvert. To be completely honest, the only people I've seen who are explicitly negative on G Witch are either ones who haven't seen it, or ones who haven't seen Gundam and are unfamiliar with its tropes, every fan I've talked to who's actually seen it, as in, does not get the basic elements of the story extraordinarily incorrect because a review told them as much, either just kinda likes G Witch or thinks it's peak, but certainly no one saying G Witch means the franchise will be ruined if it uses the show's tropes cuz, again, they're mostly just classic UC tropes. I can't comment on future projects taking similar creative decisions, but considering G Witch took the advice of Tomino himself on the matter, him naming it a worthy successor to his life's work no less, I don't see a problem there.
