Nice video Zed, the one issue I have had is getting the blade sharpened due to the curved blades. A short video with sharpening techniques for this style blade would be nice.

Question. Are these types of tools mainly for hard woods. I ask only because, some types of wood work cross grain. Great video. And this tool is new to me….

Hi Zed. Great and inspiring insight into this special tool! Have you ever considered making a complete video on carving a long bow or native American flatbow? Maybe utilising a mocotaugan.(As far as I can see in your video collection, you haven't done one yet? 😊)

@@Zedoutdoors Okay! Well, I'll keep my crossed for the lockdown restrictions will get less strict in the nearby future. I myself is a novice bowyer from Denmark. Recently I have begun carving spoons and such. Thoose skills has taken my bowmaking to a new level. And your videos has been a great help and inspiration. I would really like to find new ways to carve a bow in more free manner without a shavehorse and the likes of it. Looking forward to new carving videos on your channel! ~Peace~
