Nicely done, Manny. Good, honest thoughts about the pros and cons. Maybe put a tall kiltie in your Whites to cushion the tongue for comfort?

You know I been thinking about that too, I been looking for a kiltie with the same leather, As soon as I find tabbaco leather I will buy it. I can make the kiltie.

I put nicks delta sole insert into my white Perry toe. makes it a complete boot. only thing whites was lacking was a bigger stack of leather inside boot. nicks is too thick to be a moc toe, and isnt a traditional moc toes since its one piece of leather instead of two they couldn't do traditional sine it was too thick. whites leather is very nice considering the boot. nicks thicker leather is really really nice too. the only issue I had with nicks is the availability is here and there. I dont have patience for a year long wait. I have a pair of urban loggers and its the best pair I own but whites is alot easier to wear sometimes I agree too red wings kill your heel too something about boot rubs you wrong.

red wing 1907's are the only boot I had to go a full size down on. Once I did that, no more heel rub

Thank you for sharing my fiend. I may do the same with my Perrys, a bit of arch will do amazing. Glad it work. Perrys have a perfect balance specially the thickness of the leather. Nicks is a tank but they structure of the boots if completely different. Not 260 stitching, single piece vamp, etc... Anyways I like the moctoe but I will not buy another one at this moment. You are completely the lead time is insane.
