Great lecture, Professor. I studied Physics at Columbia University in the 1980's, but my hobbie was always studying Eastern Philosophy & Religion. I took courses in those topics during college when I could & I have read many books & listened to many lectures over the decades on that subject. On the other hand, this was the very 1st time I heard a lecture about Western Philosophy taught by a scholar from India and originally intended (I presume since it was a lecture from IIT Faculty) for Indian University students. The most important aspect of the presentation was the high quality of the presentation, of course. Thanks for that, Prof. In addition, I also enjoyed experiencing for the first time the "inverse" of what I have spent a lifetime doing--> listening to Western Scholars (well actually primarily, but not exclusively Western Scholars) attempt to explain Hindu, Buddhist, Jain Philosophy to Western audiences. BTW, I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but please don't let your friends become Hegelians. Hege'sl legacy here in the West has not been a good one. Still, it was a great lecture!!!!!!
