Coming from someone taking this for Narcolepsy, I feel incredibly envious of anyone who gets a good kick out of this drug. I only ever notice it’s doing something when I DON’T take it for a day, and I can’t keep my eyes open, can’t wake up, can’t get out of bed, can’t focus, can’t work, can’t socialise... It’s a reminder that even though I don’t feel any effects when I take it, without it I can’t function. So I’m glad you’re all running around like super productive machines but for me, this drug is essential for just existing.

Modafinil really helped me to get through hard days at work while suffering with depression. Only had positive experiences with it!

Here is my honest opinion to help others out: modafinil makes me anxious but also focused and awake for many hours. However, just because you are focused and keeping busy does not mean you are productive. Modafinil does not by any means replace sleep. The less sleep you get, the less productive you will be. Even on modafinil. Itleast from my experience. But if you take modafinil after a great night sleep you will have an amazingly productive day if you are motivated to get things done. I say if you are motivated because modafinil will also make you procrastinate for hours and be focused on doing nothing if you let it.

3 months ago , I was on a verge of getting fired at my job because I was very unproductive due to depression etc ... then I started taking Modafinil and I feel like my brain CPU was upgraded from an i3 to a quantum computing level processing power 😂 Oh also I just got promoted at my job !

Took Modafinil during fire academy . Plain and simple it works . I remembered everything I read in books , I was motivated to accomplish tasks . One thing I would suggest is don’t start with the full pill (200mg) . Unless you want to have a more euphoric effect . If u want just wakefulness and cognition enhancement 100mg works awsome .

I love it ! I been talking it for almost 6 months almost daily I can turn it on or off any time without getting a withdrawal like adderall. Way cheaper and since I Live in Texas we can get it across the border without prescription. I feel my self again, more focused, less stressed, super motivated and I still can go to sleep like a baby.

I take it at 4:00am and I am jacked out of my mind till about 1:00-3:00 pm. I am a welder by trade, it’s very technical and have to be very disciplined, and 100% accurate. Helps me focus and helps my attention to details, mix it with a cup of coffee and your good to go! I do not take it every day, only a few days a week. Slight headache sometimes but nothing unbearable.

I don't feel like I get any crazy focus or anything from it, I've tried Ritalin before and find that more focus enhancing (it is a stimulant after all.) Modafinil really promoted wakefulness, it would be definitely good to keep you awake.

first time i took it 200 mg i couldn't sleep for 24 hours or more .... now i split the tablet because i couldn't find the 100mg tablet in local stores ... i wish i could find 100 mg tablets even online

sjs is basically just an allergic reaction to a drug. can happen with antibiotics etc. super rare.

Take it when you need it, don't abuse it. IT actually works. Great for new Parents that still have to go to worthwhile have been using it for about 7 years. IMO just take half a tablet. You can still sleep on it. You can just focus its great. There is no high and low its not a stimulant. Always have some in my wallet but really only use it about once a month.

My experience is its definitely good for depression. I was more focused and productive. Occasionally got headaches but nothing paracetamol couldn't help.

When i took it, i had a very productive day. i became more efficient. for example. i was running slightly late for work so i shaved whilst brushing my teeth simultaneously. saved time and got the job done. never did that before lol. then had a solid day at work. it works best in the first 2 hours of taking it

Can you stack it with something? I find L-theanine usefull. And yeah that time starts to flow away, yep some expiriance. Also no food and no water which made me worry a bit. For one day thats ok but more then one is a bit off putting.

I take modafinil due to extreme tiredness and tightness. Some days, I feel amazing and I don't need to take it due to Testosterone Injections and no more flare up. I only take it when I need it to be. honest.

Some people say their sleep time table changes very drastically. It didn't happened to be but people might have such problems as late nights, may be they should go for lower doses. Modafinil works differently for different persons. It's better to start with lower dose and find out your correct dosage. Start with 50mg and later go for higher dosage according to the reaction of your body. And also modafinil and caffeine can cause problems such as anxiety etc

I absolutely have to cycle on and off of it to feel the effects. Like I’ll be off for 2 days and get back on the 3rd day to feel it working 100%. If I just take it every day of the week for like 5 days straight, then I won’t feel the effects as much on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th day. It’s been really helpful for me.

I will be interested in knowing what happens if after a few years of using modafinil you then stop , Is this addictive ? They said Prozac was awesome only to find out years later of the nasty side effects. Prozac was supposed to be completely safe.

Best drug ever, tried it the first time a while back and I love the drug, I was able to concentrate and focus on projects for ages and especially for study.. those assignments are easier to manage I can get stuff done and dusted.

Nice to see you have it in a blister pack as I think it can lose effectiveness after just a couple weeks in regular pill bottle. What really burns me is they sell tetracycline with its original blister pack expiry date in pill bottles where it can go bad and cause kidney damage.

I got it prescribed a few days ago but I don’t feel anything when I take it. In fact I feel more sleepy because I cut out the caffeine to substitute for the modafinil. Is this a drug that takes 2 weeks or something before you start feeling the effects?

Where can I find Modafinil?

I took my first Modafinil today (half at 7am and the other half at 9). No kick... But I definitely felt awake today. I did get stuff done... It didn't seem to counteract my inattentive ADHD as well as I wanted it to. I could still be distracted by things happening around me. I did have a slight headache this evening (I expected that), but it was easily counteracted with an Advil. I'm also hyper aware of hydration. I got dry mouth, but drank lots of water and green tea. It was mild to me. Not 'limitless' by any stretch. It didn't make me feel amazing or high or anything. Just awake and aware. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Safe drug or not what's not safe is skipping and delaying sleep on consistent basis. Just because it treats the symptoms of sleep depravation it most definitely does not help the long-term side effects. Recent studies have shown gigantic correlation between chronic sleep depravation and neuro-degenerative diseases like Alzheimer's. As much as I want extra performance I'd never take it at the expense of sleep.

I wake up at 6am and then I need a nap at around 1-2pm... I have untreatable complex sleep apnea and I have to say it really does work to motivate me for about 3 hours after it kicks in but doesn't stop me feeling tired at all, can quite easily fall asleep 4 hours after taking but it's to pricey to take multiple times a day. Would be perfect if the initial peak lasted as long as with others who don't have such an extreme version of sleep apnea as me. Can really see how it could benefit someone with mild sleep deprivation but doesn't do much for chronic sleep/oxygen deprivation unfortunately

Modafinil is going to be so disappointing for many ppl. I think they honestly expect it to be like the limitless pill. Also @ 11:40 Modafinil is not very strong at all. Very weak actually. Also, it is totally safe. No addiction potential and no negative physiological effects have been seen. It's honestly a slight boost and nothing more. Effective for sleep deprivation but other than that it's mildly effective.

After a couple years of this on and off I started getting really bad reactions, head pressure, nervousness, anxiety, panic attacks… had to stop taking it.. until then it worked great.

Good video. I starting modafinil about 3 week ago about 100mg . My doctor just bump me up because I was falling asleep after taking it. I want to say after 4 hrs during lunch time I would fall asleep at my desk. I would have to get up and walk around. Today is the first day I will take 150mg and see if that works. Going to split the 100mg in the morning and 50 in the afternoon. Took it about 1hr ago but still feel sleepy right now. One other thing if you have ADHD the doctor said I would have to take it every day but on weekend I could take a break from it. I guess to give my brain some rest time since I need it only at work, and when I'm studying .

So ive been taking armodafinil for 2 days, both days 5-6 hours of work just went by very quickly. 1st day I felt happy all day, 2nd day I felt indifferent. But both days I lost track of time while working. I have a lot of anxiety, especially when I cant figure out how to do something at work and have to look up solutions, these 2 days I did not feel that anxiety while working. Maybe its modafinil or maybe its something else.

I took 200mg yesterday morning. Went to sleep at 1:30 AM, woke up at 8:15 this morning. I didn't find it hard to sleep at all. It was quite easy actually.

The resulting migraine was so bad I had to abandon it. Such a shame because it worked so well. One shipment was also seized by customs 😭. Wish there was something that worked just as good and was safe to go through customs and didn’t result in massive headaches.
