I discovered nootropics 4 years ago and I’ve always preferred them over prescription medications. They worked for me, have made me feel more focused, and have even helped my anxiety/depression. I quit for a year and now I’m back on them, this time trying out Thesis to see how it goes (troubles focusing at work lately). I know some doctors to this day question nootropics, long term effects, blah blah - but tbh I’ve had a lot better experiences with different nootropics and I still prefer them over prescription medication. On the other hand, I know folks who it didn’t agree well with. To each their own, but this stuff always remains to be intriguing for me! It’s a risk I’ve been willing to take and I likely won’t turn around unless something crazy comes out down the road. Til then… I’ll keep utilizing them.

So far so good though I’ll admit, there are a couple blends that didn’t agree with me. Everyone will be different, but their Logic blend had me running to the restroom WAY too much. Though I could focus well, certainly wasn’t worth it. Their Creativity blend is my current favorite right now. No poor side effects and I felt a lot more productive and focused at work, and in personal life with that one. I’ll probably continue with Thesis for a couple more months then reevaluate if it’s worth continuing. I can’t be too sure til I’m on something for awhile.

@@dayton3781 Aside from that one of my other favorite brain boosters are mushroom supplements in powder or capsule form. You know that most people with a sense will do all of those on top of taking nootropics, right? I take between 16-18 pills a day, on top creatine, gym preworkouts and a microdose of LSD and they affect multiple areas of my life. It helps maintain my ADHD symptoms of not being able to maintain focus, while also benefiting me in fitness too. Here's a list of supplements I take with the reasons, if it interests you: Daily: Omega 3/6/9 - Cognitive function/cardiovascular health/joint health Vitamin D3 - Has helped incredibly with depressive symptoms (especially Season Affective Disorder) L-Tyrosine - Helps with depressive symptoms and Cognitive function 5-HTP - Improves my focus from my ADHD symptoms/helps depressive symptoms/good sleep Green Tea (Caffeine/L-Theanine) - Helps improve metabolism/Great way to wake up Garlic Oil - Immune system/Cognitive function Creatine Monohydrate - Cognitive function/gym performance ZMA (Zinc/Magnesium) - Helps deal with muscle cramps/Testosterone maintenance Other useful boosters: Modafinil - I don't use it often as it nulls my creative side, but it definitely helps me stay on the go LSD (10-15ug) - Resolves ADHD symptoms. Once every 3 days gives a surreal focus with creativity and boosts neuroplasticity (ability to learn) Phenibut - Cognitive enhancement. Usually use higher dosages to counteract modafinil-anxiety or general anxiety Kratom - Great mood/sleep enhancer, but it's absolutely disgusting Vitamin E - Hormone maintenance/healthier skin Caffeine/L-Theanine supplement - Use it for a smooth boost BROCCOLI - The God vegetable (EAT IT DAILY) Vitamin A/E face cream - duh Gym Preworkout - A fun boost for working out. Melatonin - I only take this if I feel like I'm going to struggle to sleep

bob saget I legitimately take every single one of those pills that I’ve listed under ‘Daily’. That being said, I used my last Vitamin D pill today. That stuff really helped me handle the weather. As for the research, I learnt about a fair amount of them in my Anatomy & Physiology lessons. Research on LSD is now publicly available, while I can admit that my research on substances like Modafinil and Phenibut is purely from the internet.
@j946 жыл бұрын
In my experience, microdosing LSD has been the most effective method of treating my inattentive symptoms. The only problem is that it should be done only around once every 3 days due to tolerance buildup. That being said, going to the gym (followed by a shower) prior to going to school or work, can drastically increase your focus.

Nootropics work. Theyre relatively cheap. Works best when you feel you need a boost or have had a long week. If I could explain what taking a nootropic feels like, it gives you the 'free flow' feeling you would feel from psychoactive substance without actually feeling a high. "Unlike amphetamine, methamphetamine is neurotoxic to human midbrain dopaminergic neurons.[18] It has also been shown to damage serotonin neurons in the CNS.[19][20] This damage includes adverse changes in brain structure and function, such as reductions in grey matter volume in several brain regions and adverse changes in markers of metabolic integrity.[20]" So when anyone says "Adderal is just Meth" , I feel obliged to comment and correct. I even offer friendly advice to the kids: When you are offered a choice between Adderal or Meth, Just stick with Adderal, it's way safer.

There are virtually no side effects to quality nootropics stacks as they are all-natural derivatives and extracts and essentially brain food. The effects that are known are quite minor, from brain fog, to nausea and crashes (down in the dumps and low energy). This can result from the drastic change in meeting those new dietary needs, taking too many nootropics at once with prescription meds or no prior supplement use, or purchasing low grade nootropic stacks which are marketed more for immediate effects and used as an alternative to energy drinks/Adderall to complete specific tasks quickly over a short period. If you take a quality nootropics stack, after a few days you should have virtually no side effects and the first few days its always recommended to take a half dosage and gradually increase to the fully recommended dose in order to avoid the initial shock that happens in some people.

Sounds too good to be true, which is the hallmark of any fraudulent claim. Are the long-term effects known, does it even work as believed and will altering your brain chemistry is this way lead to other problems. It just shows how no matter how successful you are, we always desire more & is that a winning formula which can be sustained?.

That’s the problem, Geraldine. If the body becomes “immune” to them, the pendulum could seriously swing the other way, and the person would be left foggy and stupid. He or she would then have to take the stuff just to function AT ALL!!! I’m “bad-luck-Charlie-Brown.” The pendulum ALWAYS swings the other way with me!!! My immune system is like an irate blind man with a machine gun!!! It doesn’t recognize HELP!!! It just paranoidly shoots EVERYTHING down!!! Oh but then there’s the “punishment factor.” This is where my immune system fails to attack everything from my allergies to my gout!!! But it attacks the medications prescribed to TREAT these conditions ( this includes my diabetes medications )!!!!!!! Being Charlie Brown ( that is CURSED ) not only sucks, but it is excruciatingly PAINFUL!!! So now, in a “broken” sort of way, I just laugh at it all. It’s either that or start crying.
