I have an old Raider, and modifying the air restrictor and strengthening the spring, with a plunger tube buffer to deal with it brought it up to 90 FPS on my chrono. Not bad for a blaster I literally found in the trash at the curb walking my dog one evening about fifteen years ago.

I've also been playing Nerf since I was 10 to 12 years old but I only have three blaster which are Maveric, Jolt and an Sharp Shot Dart Tag. Back then it was only the blasters my parent can afford to buy for me even though I would love to have a Deploy CS-6 or a Vortex Praxis. However, now that I'm already 21 yrs old, for the past month my girlfriend and I already purchased 6 great blasters and it was because of her that we purchased Nerf because she also can't afford to buy one when she was a kid and now we enjoy playing together. My point is, it is never too late to enjoy some things that we didn't enjoy before. Thank you for your great KZfaq Channel man! I hope you and your family will keep safe from covid.

Kudos for trying harder. If i can get ANY nerf(specifically nerf) springer(dart blaster) to 100fps w just a spring upgrade im ecstatic and walk away lol.

can you add a retaliator breach pusher thing to a rampage? you know the thing where the dart sits in before being fired? are they interchangeable?

What are your thoughts on a 12kg spring for the blaster? I'm choosing whether to get the 7kg or 12kg but I'm worried the 12kg spring would be too heavy for stock Nerf internals

Question: do you have to pull the priming grip back quite fast to get it to catch? I'm trying to fix this problem in my rampage but i don't know how to

A few ambitious modders have converted the Raider to take Rampage internals, but the amount of shell-cutting required will probably take a serious toll on the sanity of those who attempt it...

Sad it was a rampage and not a raider, I would’ve loved a blue fire extendable stock,

1:43 Too old for it? That's actually funny when his uncle is knee deep in the same hobby and is probably twice or thrice his age. He's just at the wanna be cool kid age, people that has these kinds of hobby never stray too far from it once they get back into it again at some point 10 or 20 years down the line. Same for me with Transformers/mecha in general, I stopped collecting when I was like 13/14 cause I got into mmos and videos games and then I would spend money on those, Fast forward like 10 years and I get the itch and buy a single figure. That's all it took and now my personal home office is just a big mecha display room and I get to do my job in this room. My sibling is the one that actually likes nerf, she's the one that actually would buy 1 blaster every few years but about a month ago, she went to me and said "Wanna buy a nerf gun?" I was like sure, so we went around the city checking different retail store for the best places to get one and now a month later, were rabbit hole deep and is already looking and buying high end and high fps blasters out of the box or with minimal mods and have been checking our area if there's a nerf community here we could join. Plinking alone is honestly a good stress release but we hate it when we use regular nerf blasters and we can't really hit stuff hard, hence the rabbit hole into high fps stuff. Even my buddy who was laughing at me for getting into nerf also got into the modding aspect of the hobby, I made him play with our nerf guns one day he came by and the next thing you know, he's going around the city and other places checking thrift shops, marketplaces, and garage sales for nerf stuff to mod.
