@bluejay148 Yep, It can be done on an older shotgun as long as the barrel is in good shape. We had very precise equipment, but I suspect with extreme care you could do it yourself.

Can this be done with a drill press? I would think so but I want to make sure. If so, what RPM is optimal for bit speed and what type of drill bit do you recommend? I have a tap and die set already. I have a Maverick 88 12ga that I have been wanting to port, and an older Mossberg model G4 410 bore that I've been restoring. Any advice would be great! Thanks.

Thanks for the great vid, love the step by step. Looks like the steady rest marred the blueing on the barrel a tad, any ideas on how to eliminate the chance of that. Love that digi controller, he old Jet I have at work is manual. I would love to start offering this mod at the shop I am at. In the past I had a 5 axis Fadal at my disposal and comped a barrel with angled ports, wish I had a spare $40,000.00 to put one in my shop, lol.
